Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a liquid neutral detergent composition of a high concentration which neither thickens nor gels and can be uniformly diluted with water by blending a specified surfactant component and a specified solvent component so as to provide specified properties. CONSTITUTION: This composition is obtained by blending 85-95wt.% surfactant component consisting essentially of 30-70wt.% anionic surfactant comprising a salt obtained from an 8-16C linear alkyl sulfonate and an ethanolamine represented by the formula Hm N(CH2 CH2 OH)n (wherein m is 0 to 2 and n is 1 to 3), 5-40wt.% nonionic surfactant comprising a compound represented by the formula R-O(CH2 CH2 O)n H (wherein R is a 8-16C alkyl group; and n is 2 to 18) and 10-50wt.% nonionic surfactant comprising a compound represented by the formula R-CON(CH2 CH2 OH)2 (wherein R is a 8-16C alkyl or alkenyl group) with 5-15wt.% of at least one solvent component selected from among ethanol, propylene glycol and polyethylene glycol, and it contains no water and has a viscosity (at 20 deg.C) of at most 1,000mPa.S.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a dishwashing detergent for commercial use is filled in a metal container called an Ito can (capacity 18 liters) whose inner surface is coated with a plastic film, and these containers are exclusively disposed of. However, with the recent tightening of regulations on waste disposal, the disposal cost has risen sharply, so that metal containers are gradually being replaced by plastic containers.

On the other hand, regarding plastic containers,
It is used in a wide range of industries because of its advantages such as moldability, light weight, purchase cost, etc., but in recent years, due to the problem of incompatibility of plastics in the natural world, measures to reduce the amount used are urgently needed. . Against this background, in the detergent industry, as a measure to reduce the total amount of containers to be disposed of, it is partly practiced to collect and reuse the containers with the shape left, but this is extremely rare. That is the case. The recent movement in the industry is to reduce the size and packaging of easy-to-use plastic containers as demanded by users.

As an example of increasing the concentration of a detergent, it is possible to adjust the concentration to about 50 to 60% by weight by increasing the blending amount of the surfactant in the blending composition and reducing water relatively.
It is technically possible. In such a high-concentration detergent composition, technical development efforts have been made to eliminate discomfort to the user by making appearance, viscosity and other properties at conventional use concentrations similar to those of conventional products. −
High-concentration neutral detergent compositions are disclosed in JP-A-179298, JP-A-5-320698 and the like.

Moreover, conventionally known high-concentration products are
All of them are water-containing compositions, and there are some problems in the system containing these waters. That is, as long as the system is one in which water is mixed, the higher the detergent component concentration, the more rapidly the viscosity increases, or the more difficult the solution preparation becomes, such as gelation.

For example, most of the liquid neutral detergents that are usually commercially available have a surfactant concentration of 13 to 13 as an active ingredient.
It is set to 20% by weight. And the others are composed of water and some inorganic salts, and the viscosity of such a detergent is 250 on average in relation to the kind of the activator to be blended.
It is generally adjusted to a relatively viscous liquid of about 600 mPa · S. The viscosity is 1000 to 1400.
Although there are some with high mPa · S, in general, when a high-concentration liquid detergent is metered and diluted for use, such a high viscosity causes a problem that the above constant meter becomes very troublesome. There is.

Further, in the case of a highly viscous detergent containing water as described above, it is necessary to add a drug other than the active ingredient, which does not contribute to the original detergency in preparing a solution.
The safety of the effects of these agents remaining on dishes and skin must be proved, which causes a new problem of guaranteeing the quality stability of detergents.

The viscosity of an aqueous solution obtained by diluting the above composition to 5% by weight is less than 70 mPa · S at 25 ° C. That is, when the viscosity is less than 70 mPa · S, the liquid becomes a free-flowing liquid which is almost similar to water, and therefore, when the hand-held dispenser pump is filled with this liquid and used, the liquid has a merit that it is easy to move and push out. . It also has the advantage of requiring low transport pressures when pumping detergent from a single detergent source to multiple locations (eg, individual sinks in the kitchen).
In addition, since it does not feel sticky when used, it has good defoaming,
It also has the advantage of meeting the needs of consumers against the backdrop of safety-oriented and increasing awareness of environmental conservation.

The blending ratio of the anionic surfactant (a) must be set to 30 to 70% by weight (hereinafter abbreviated as "%"). That is, if it exceeds 70%, the detergency of the cleaning liquid obtained by diluting the highly concentrated liquid with water to a certain extent is not affected, but the target composition viscosity (2
0 ° C) greatly exceeds 1000 mPa · S,
This is because the adjustment becomes difficult and the handling during dilution becomes difficult. On the other hand, if it is less than 30%, the expected detergency cannot be obtained when used for the intended purpose of the present application.
In addition, it is suitable to set it in 50-70% also in the said mixing ratio.

The mixing ratio of the nonionic surfactant (b) must be set to 5-40%. That is,
This is because if it exceeds 40%, it becomes difficult to secure a certain level of detergency, and if it is less than 5%, it is difficult to obtain the effect for viscosity adjustment. In addition, it is suitable to set it in 10-25% also in the said mixing ratio.

The blending ratio of the nonionic surfactant (c) must be set to 10 to 50%. That is, when it exceeds 50%, the balance with other surfactant components is poor, the detergency is reduced, and the practicality becomes poor.

The viscosity at 5 ° C becomes less than 70 mPa · S, and the viscosity is remarkably reduced. Therefore, when used, it does not have a sticky feel, and gives a refreshing feeling of use and excellent defoaming. It has been conventionally said that such a low-viscosity type cleaning agent is not preferable because it leads to excessive use of the cleaning agent, but in recent years, due to safety-consciousness and increasing awareness of environmental conservation, the cleaning agent has a smooth surface. It is an advantageous property for meeting such new needs, as is being favored. In addition, since it becomes a liquid that is almost like water, it has an advantage that the liquid is easy to move and the pushing operation is easy to perform when the hand-held dispenser pump is filled and used. It also has the advantage of requiring low transport pressures when pumping detergent from a single detergent source to multiple locations (eg, individual sinks in the kitchen).

Industrial Applicability As described above, the high-concentration liquid neutral detergent composition of the present invention has a surfactant component concentration of 85 in a detergent used for washing dishes, cooking utensils, vegetables, fruits and the like. Since it is a highly concentrated product of ˜95% and does not contain water in the composition, it is possible to prevent spoilage bacteria caused by water from occurring in the composition as much as possible. Further, even though it is a high-concentration product as described above, it is prepared so that it does not thicken or gel, and is a stable liquid having a constant viscosity or less, so it is very easy to handle and can be easily diluted uniformly. it can.

Moreover, the high-concentration liquid neutral detergent composition of the present invention is of course advantageous because it achieves a more compact size in the conventional packaging with a packaging material such as a plastic container, and a new paper pack container. Not only can low-pollution containers such as the above be used, but since the composition does not contain water, it becomes possible to form a packaging form using a water-soluble polymer film as a material. Since it dissolves, it has advantages such as no generation of waste.

With respect to each of the obtained compositions, the undiluted solution viscosity (20 ° C., 25 ° C.) and the viscosity (25 ° C.) of a 15% diluted aqueous solution were measured. Further, using each composition, the state of foam when washed by the following method, the daily stability of the undiluted detergent solution, the skin irritation of the diluted washing solution, and the like were comparatively evaluated. The results are shown in Tables 4 to 6 below.
