In the battery pack connection structure described above, the spring terminals 35a, 35b are provided.
Area of contact between the electrode terminal plates 30a and 30b (current carrying capacity)
However, if a motor such as a vibration drill or an electric hammer is a relatively large tool, the contact resistance between the spring terminal and the electrode terminal plate increases.
In particular, in the above vibrating tool, chattering (rubbing between contacts or momentary separation) may occur at the contact portion to cause poor contact, so that the contact resistance further increases, resulting in heat generation and the electrode terminal plate 30a. , 30b will melt the synthetic resin terminal holder, or shorten the life of the storage battery on the battery side.

When the battery pack is attached to the electric tool, the connection terminals of the battery holder grip the electrodes on the front and back surfaces formed on the side surface of the battery pack and the inner wall surface of the insertion hole on the back side thereof, so that the electrical connection is made. The battery holder and the battery pack are firmly integrated. At the same time, since the electrodes also come into contact with each other on the two front and back surfaces gripped by the connection terminal, a large contact area can be secured and the influence of contact resistance is reduced. Further, when the connecting terminals are formed by bending two conductive plates each to form an electrode sandwiching portion and further stacking reinforcing plates, the connecting terminals can be simply configured and the gripping force is also increased by the reinforcing plates.

In the connection structure constructed as described above,
When the battery pack 1 is inserted from the lower part of the handle housing 20, 20 of the electric tool with the battery holder 22 assembled as described above, the battery pack 3 is provided on the left and right mounting portions 5 of the battery case 3 as shown in FIGS. The hook portion 18 of the hook button 18 is biased outward by the leaf spring 17 and is prevented from coming out upward by the projections 5a, 5a.
a engages with the engaging portions 20a that are inwardly returned at the lower edge of the handle housing 20, and the locked state is maintained by the biasing of the leaf spring 17 as it is. At this time, the connection part 4
Then, the sandwiching portions 26a and 26b of the spring terminals 24a and 24b have the side holes 7a and 7b side and the insertion hole 8 respectively.
Electrode terminal plates 11a exposed on the front and back surfaces of a and 8b,
The U-shaped portions 13 and 13 of 11b are respectively gripped, and the elasticity thereof causes a contact pressure in the clamping direction, so that the battery holder 22 and the battery pack 1 are integrated together with electrical connection. Since the U-shaped portions 13 and 13 of the electrode terminal plates 11a and 11b are provided with chamfered portions 19 and 19 at both corners thereof, the operations from the sandwiching of the sandwiching portions 26a and 26b to the entering and entering are smooth. Done. Further, since the side wall portions 10a and 10b of the terminal holder 10 are thick-walled integrally formed with the same heat-resistant synthetic resin as the terminal holder 10, the clamping force of the gripped spring terminals 24a and 24b can be further increased. It is possible to prevent deformation due to external force. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the spacer 28 in the terminal block 23 also comes into contact with the connection surface 9 of the battery case 2 to suppress the rattling of the battery holder 22. Therefore, the spring terminals 24a, 24 are provided.
Together with the gripping effect of b, the integration of both is further enhanced, and chattering is less likely to occur even when vibration is applied by the vibrating tool. Further, each electrode has two conductive plates 25, 25, respectively.
Therefore, the contact area can be secured wider than in the conventional case, and the influence of the contact resistance can be reduced even in a motor with a large current. On the other hand, battery pack 1
The battery case 2 is formed with a step portion 2a, and four corners of the step portion 2a respectively match a pair of fitting portions 20b, 20b provided on the inner surface of each handle housing 20 in a mounted state. Therefore, the action of suppressing the rattling of the battery pack 1 is exerted here as well. Since the battery pack 1 of the present embodiment has the engaging portion 6 formed on the lower battery case 3 as described above, when the set plate 29 is axially attached to the handle housing 20, as shown in FIG. As described above, the attachment can be performed by the set plate 29 instead of the hook buttons 18, 18.

In the battery pack 1 described in the above embodiment, besides the sandwiching connection by the grip type spring terminals 24a and 24b, the electrode terminal plates 11a and 11b are also provided at both side positions by the side holes 7a and 7b. Since it is exposed, it can be used even with a power tool equipped with the conventional outer grip type spring terminals 35a and 35b as shown in FIG. 5, so that the range of use is not limited. Further, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the insertion holes are formed in the connecting surface 9 at two positions 8a and 8b, but it is possible to eliminate the partition between both insertion holes and to make one large insertion hole. In addition, the spring terminal 24a,
Although it has been described that the reinforcing plates 27, 27 are provided on 24b,
Instead of this, the spring terminals may be formed only by the conductive plates 25, 25. Further, in the above-mentioned embodiment, the battery holder 1 has been described as a 9.6V type, but of course the capacity and the shape of the battery case are not limited to those in the above-mentioned embodiment.
