用に伴うシール体21の劣化によって、雨水が屋根材5
の連結部内に浸入することがある。しかし、浸入した雨
水は、樋溝9で受け止められて軒先へと流下されるの
で、それ以上雨水が屋根内面側へ浸入することはない。
例外的に樋溝9に腐食を生じた場合には、そこから雨水
が滴下する。しかし、樋溝9の下面は連結枠11の樋部
13で受け止められているので、樋部13に浸入した雨
水も軒先へと流下できる。つまり、長期にわたって確実
な防水機能を発揮し続けることができる。段落部7や係
合段部8が腐食して、座壁14側へ雨水が浸入するおそ
れがあるが、こうした場合にも、座壁14と止水壁15
で雨水を受け止めて軒先へ流下し、雨水が屋根内面へ浸

0が連結枠11に締結固定される屋根材5と、隣接する
屋根材5の連結部の外面を覆う長尺のキャップ17とを
備えている内部連結型の縦葺き屋根であって、 連結枠11は、内層下地材2で支持される底壁13bの
ほぼ中央に上方へ突出する締結部12を有し、締結部1
2の両側に上向きに開口する一対の樋部13が設けてあ
り、 屋根材5の両端のそれぞれに、締結部12で支持される
横向きの連結壁10と、上向きに開口する樋溝9と、横
向きの係合段部8とが順に形成されており、 隣接する屋根材5の連結部において、屋根材5の連結壁
10を締結部12に上下に重合し、これら連結壁10お
よび隣接する樋溝9をクリップ23で係合保持してお
り、 クリップ23の上面側から挿通したねじ27で、クリッ
プ23と上下に重合する連結壁10と締結部12が共締
め固定されており、 キャップ17の内面に設けた一対の脚片18を隣接する
屋根材5の係合段部8に弾性係合して、キャップ17が
