Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a plaster capable of imparting a corset effect to a body and good in the use touch by using the laminate of a synthetic resin foam to woven or nonwoven fabric as a support, and subsequently forming an adhesive agent layer on the woven or nonwoven fabric of the support. CONSTITUTION: Woven fabric or nonwoven fabric is attached on one side of a synthetic resin foam (e.g. polyethylene foam), and 5-80wt.% of the whole surface area is fused or bonded. The laminate thus produced is used as support. An adhesive agent layer containing an adhesive agent as a main component is formed on the woven or nonwoven fabric side of the support to prepare the plaster. The fusion is performed by a method comprising e.g. thermally melting the foam and subsequently laminating the woven fabric or nonwoven fabric to the melted surface, and the formation of the adhesive agent is performed e.g. by a solvent-coating method. The plaster exhibits a corset effect, when the plaster is adhered to a diseased site in the state wherein the peelable foam layer is attached. When the foam layer is peeled, the left plaster can be adhered to a site requiring elasticity, such as a shoulder or joint, without giving a bulky touch or a feeling of physical disorder.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, by using a woven cloth, a non-woven cloth, a foam or the like as a support for a patch provided with an adhesive layer containing a drug, a support feeling, that is, a corset effect is obtained. The method of giving is done. For example, there is disclosed a medical patch having a corset effect in which a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer containing a medicinal component is provided on a support obtained by laminating a nonwoven fabric on a foam (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 4-308527).

Examples of the method for forming the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer include hot melt coating method, solvent coating method, calender coating method and the like. In the solvent coating method, the pressure-sensitive adhesive is diluted with a suitable solvent as necessary, and is made into a solution at a warmed state or at room temperature, and a drug is further added if necessary to uniformly mix the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. After the preparation of the adhesive composition, the adhesive composition is applied to the woven or non-woven fabric side of the support and dried to remove the solvent to form an adhesive layer on the support to prepare a patch. You can Further, this solution may be coated on a release paper and dried, and then transferred to a support to form an adhesive layer. Further, this release paper may be stuck until the time of use for the purpose of protecting the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer.

(2) Fusing or Adhesive Strength Ten volunteers each apply one patch to the lumbar region for one day, hold the foam part by hand and peel the non-woven fabric and foam from the lumbar region. Whether or not the fusion or the peeling of the adhered portion occurred was evaluated according to the following five-level judgment criteria (score). 1 point: The foam was peeled off on the entire surface and the whole nonwoven fabric remained on the skin 2 points: Most of the foam was peeled off and most of the nonwoven fabric remained on the skin 3 points: A part of the foam was Peeled off and part of the non-woven fabric remained on the skin 4 points: Most of the foam was peeled off and most of the non-woven fabric was peeled off 5 points: No peeling of the foam occurred and the non-woven fabric was completely on the skin Did not remain

(3) Bulkiness and discomfort: 10 volunteers were given 2 patches each, the layers of the non-woven fabric and the foam were peeled off by hand, and then 1 patch was applied to the shoulder for 1 day to give a bulky feeling. Another sheet was attached to the elbow for 1 day, and the discomfort was evaluated according to the following five-level judgment criteria (score). 1 point: Very high 2 points: Moderate 3 points: Neither can be said 4 points: Moderate 5 points: None

The composition of the patch of the present invention is as described above, and when it is applied to the affected area with the peelable foam layer still attached, the corset effect can be exerted. When the layer is peeled off, it can be attached to a region such as a shoulder or joint where elasticity is required without giving a bulky feeling or a strange feeling.
