Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a capacitor using a wound metallized film member formed by winding a thin dielectric film on which an electrode metal is vapor-deposited is re-insulated even if a partial dielectric breakdown occurs in the dielectric film. It is widely used in various electric and electronic devices such as household electric appliances because of its excellent self-healing property.

When it is used for a long period of time, the frequency of partial insulation breakdown increases due to the deterioration of the dielectric film, and further deterioration is promoted due to partial discharge and temperature rise due to the insulation breakdown, and finally short-circuit breakdown occurs. Will be reached.

The value remains. And the short circuit current is limited due to the residual resistance of the dielectric film,
Since the operating current of a safety device such as a current fuse or a breaker connected to the outside is not reached, the safety device does not operate and power is continuously supplied to the metallized film capacitor. For this reason, there is a risk that the dielectric film is decomposed to generate combustible gas due to the continuous partial discharge and abnormal temperature rise, which may cause ignition or explosion.

Alternatively, there has been proposed a device incorporating a safety mechanism that cuts off power supply by detecting abnormal current, temperature, or generated gas.

An adhesive is applied to one surface of a safety belt formed by adhering the second good conductive metal foil on the insulating film such that the insulating film that melts at a predetermined temperature or higher is sandwiched between the second conductive metal foil and the second conductive metal foil. The adhesive-coated surface of the safety band was wound so as to be in close contact with the outer periphery of the rolled metallized film member so that the winding end portion of the rolled metallized film member was stopped. The first good conductive metal foil and the second good conductive metal foil are preferably made of, for example, copper foil.

A metallized film capacitor having a wound metallized film member formed by stacking a pair of metallized films, each having an electrode metal deposited on the surface of a dielectric film, and winding the stacked metallized films. A first good conductive metal foil connected to the first external electrode and a second good conductive metal foil connected to the second external electrode face each other with an insulating film that melts at a predetermined temperature or higher interposed therebetween. To place the insulation
Adhesive is applied to one side of the security belt formed by depositing on the rum
Then, the adhesive-coated surface of the safety belt is covered with the wound metallized film.
Wrap it in close contact with the outer circumference of the member, and
It is configured to stop the winding end of the chemical film member.
Metalized film capacitor, characterized in that.
