Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a bulletproof fabric-shield normally used in a double-folded state, which can be used for converting a conveniently usable light-weighted stone-protecting shield into a bulletproof shield if necessity arises by straightening the bulletproof fabric-shield and covering the light-weighted stone- protecting shield with the bulletproof fabric-shield to form the bulletproof shield. CONSTITUTION:A fiber-made weight body formed by arranging a plurality of special fabrics 1 in layers is inserted within a bag 4. A ready-made stone- protecting riot-quelling shield 3 having determined dimensions can be wholly covered with the bag closed after the insertion. The bag 4 is provided at an upper back side thereof with a bag portion 5 having an area capable of including an upper part of the stone-protecting shield 3. Band stoppers 6 is secured on both sides of the bag 4 at an approximate center in a longitudinal direction in order to fix the bag 4 to the stone-protecting shield 3 and to provide a handhold normally used for carrying and also used for holding in an emergency in which the bag 4 is used in a folded state like a suit bag. Securing bands 9 passed through metal-made ground-engaging fittings located at both sides of a bottom end 7 of the shield 3 are attached on lower part of the bag 4 by sewing.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a bulletproof shield which is used by a police officer or the like engaged in work for guarding an important person, a scene of a violent case or the like to protect the person and the person himself or herself.

Description of the Related Art Heretofore, this type of stone protection, control shield, and bullet protection shield has been widely used at present, but many of them were developed for use as stone protection or bullet protection, respectively.
