Since the conventional power switch is configured as described above,
There is a problem that the arc foot is difficult to transfer, and the arc time at the time of breaking or breaking becomes long. That is, when the arc time becomes long, the arc energy becomes large, making it difficult to turn on or off a large current, and when the overcurrent is repeated or turned off, for example, the temperature of the movable contact becomes high and the movable contact becomes The crossbar to be held may be thermally deteriorated and the crossbar may be damaged.

Next, the operation will be described. In FIG. 1, when the fixed contact (8A) and the movable contact (6A) are opened, an arc (12) occurs between the fixed contact (8A) and the movable contact (6A). This arc (12) is attracted to the metal arc-extinguishing plate (13) as shown in Fig. 1 and stretched like an arc (12A), (12B).
Through the state of (12C), the foot of the arc (12B) on the arc horn (6B) disappears, and a new foot of the arc is generated on the commutation plate (15). The arc (12) finally becomes the arc (12D). ), The metal arc extinguishing plate (13) cools and extinguishes the arc. However, since the commutating plate (15) is provided with the arced gas distribution hole (15B), the arced gas flows through the arrow. It flows out through this hole in the direction indicated by (P). Therefore, dielectric breakdown is likely to occur between the arc (12C) and the commutation plate (15). This is because the arced gas contains charged particles such as electrons and ions. As described above, in the embodiment of the present invention, since the dielectric breakdown can easily occur between the arc (12C) and the commutation plate (15), the legs of the arc on the arc horn (6B) are easily extinguished and the commutation plate (15) is easily erased. ) The legs of the arc are likely to occur on the top.

Therefore, the arc time is shortened and the arc energy is reduced, so that a large current can be turned on or off. Moreover, since the temperature rise of the movable contactor can be suppressed when the overcurrent is repeated or cut off, damage to the crossbar can be prevented.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of an electromagnetic contactor using the embodiment of the present invention, in which (11A) is an arced gas discharge hole, and the others are shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 and 5 to 6. It is similar to the figure. That is, as shown in the figure, the arc cover (11)
If an arced gas discharge hole (11A) is provided in the vicinity of the commutation plate of the arc arc gas, it becomes easier for the arced gas to flow through the arc gas flow hole (15B) of the commutation plate (15). The legs of the arc disappear more quickly, and the legs of the arc can be generated in the commutation plate (15) more quickly, and a greater effect can be exhibited.

As described above, according to the present invention, the arc horn extending from the tip of the movable contactor toward the commutation plate is provided, and the commutation from the arc horn facing portion and the grid facing portion of the commutating plate to the grid facing portion is performed. By providing an arced gas flow hole in the plate part, the arc time at the time of breaking or cutting can be shortened, and, for example, the breaking performance can be improved and the crossbar can be prevented from being damaged during repeated overcurrent or breaking. A power switch can be obtained.
