いている。しかし、完全に土壌を消毒出来る方法はなか

【課題を解決する為の手段】熱処理で消毒すれば、抵抗
性のつく事なく、又薬害の心配もなく、耕土全部を消毒
出来るので安全、かつ経済的にも最も優れた土壌消毒を
行なえる。その手段として、回転中の耕土に高熱風を送
り込んで、瞬時に土壌を消毒して行く機械を発明したの
である。 以下それを説明すると、この機械は、火炎放
射機とロータリーを組み合わせた物であるが、放射熱量
を調整出来る火炎放射機の火炎を外に洩らさないよう
に、ロータリーの土壌接地面より上の回転部分を、密閉
したロータリーに合体・装着する。 この場合、回転中
のロータリー内部の温度が最低摂氏60℃以上にはなる
ように火炎放射機を調整する。 火炎放射機も、熱量を
ある程度調整出来るとしても、調整範囲には限度があ
る。 火炎放射口の大きさ、放射口の数を組み合わせて
ロータリーの能力に対応出来る様に機種を用意する。な
お、火炎放射機の燃料は、灯油、重油、軽油等の油類、
プロパン等ガス類、他にも熱効率の高いものが出てくれ
ば、それに適合する放射機を用いる。ロータリーも、耕
耘巾、耕耘深度、進行速度等により消費熱量が変わるの
で、普通型、深耕型、何れも小型から大型まで機種は揃
える。ロータリーは、正転、逆転、二軸ロータリー、コ
ンベア型等、土を次々に回転させられる機能を持つ物に
