ロー成形によって製造する方法を提供するものであっ
て、この方法によって、全体として強度が大であり、し
かも、外面に取付部等の剛性部分を一体に成形すること
ができるようにしたものである。

されている。この空調用ダクト1 はプラスチックをブロ
ー成形して製造されたものであって、外面層2 は剛性を
有し、内面には発泡プラスチックの遮蔽層3 が密着一体
化されている。4 は取付部であって、この取付部4 は外
面層2 と一体に形成されている。

空調用ダクト1 のブロー成形にあたっては、ダイ8 から
押し出した外面層2 を構成するパリスン9 を一対の分割
金型5,5 間に配置し、4本の拡開棒10によってパリスン
9 を拡開し、パリスン9 内に遮蔽材である発泡プラスチ
ックの発泡体11を加熱軟化状態で挿入する。そして、一
対の分割金型5,5 を閉じて、パリスン9 内に加圧流体を
吹き込み、ブロー成形すれば、第1図に示すように、発
泡体11が延ばされ、内面に遮蔽層3 が密着一体化された
空調用ダクト1 が得られる。なお、成形された空調用ダ
クト1 のピンチオフ部P では遮蔽層3 の発泡構造が圧縮
され、一体に溶着される。

が大であり、しかも、外面に取付部等の剛性部分を一体
に成形することができる。
