Conventional technology and its problems As a measure to prevent water leakage from block joints and other cracks in conventional manholes, a sealing material filling method that fills the V groove formed along the joints and cracks with a sealing material, and water leakage The backfill injection method, which injects a waterproof material on the back of the part, is adopted, but with either method, the water leakage prevention effect cannot be maintained for a long period of time, and there is a problem in the sustainability of the effect. At the same time, there was a problem that skill was required for the construction, and the water leakage prevention effect was influenced by the skill level. In addition, water leakage often occurs at many locations, and it is extremely troublesome to carry out waterproofing work at each location.

Means for Solving the Problems The present invention, as a waterproof material, is preformed in a tubular shape having a size capable of closely covering the entire inner surface of a manhole to be constructed, so that the manhole has a smaller diameter than the manhole. Using a deformed hard or semi-rigid synthetic resin waterproof material, insert a deformed tubular waterproof material into this manhole into a manhole, and then plug the mouth of the waterproof material. To supply steam to the inside of the waterproof material, and heat and pressurize the waterproof material from the inside by this supplied steam to restore the initial cylindrical shape, thereby closely covering the inner surface of the manhole, and then restoring the shape. A waterproofing method for a manhole, characterized in that the waterproofing is cooled by supplying pressurized air to the inside of the waterproofing material instead of steam while keeping the inside of the waterproofing material under pressure. In the waterproofing method of the present invention, as the waterproofing material (1), as shown in FIG. 2, the waterproofing material (1) is preliminarily molded into a molten tube shape having a size capable of closely covering the entire inner surface of the manhole (a) to be constructed. Further, a rigid or semi-rigid thermoplastic synthetic resin (for example, vinyl chloride resin) is used. At the upper end of the tubular waterproof material (1) shown in the figure, a cylindrical mouth portion (2) is formed so as to be plugged as described below. Not necessarily required.

The tubular waterproof material (1) has a size and shape corresponding to the manhole (a), and the manhole (a) remains in this shape.
Since it cannot be inserted inside, as shown in FIG.
It is flattened and then folded in half to have a smaller diameter than the manhole (a). In this case, the lower part (1
By folding a) so as to have a W shape, it is possible to reduce the dimensional change in the length direction of the waterproof material (1). The deformation processing of the waterproof material (1) is performed under a heat-softened state.

In carrying out the method of the present invention, first, as shown in FIG. 4, a reaction hardening type adhesive layer (4) is applied to the entire inner circumference of the manhole (a) by applying a coating device (3). Is formed by coating. The step of applying and forming the adhesive layer (4) may be omitted in some cases. Expansion lining of the waterproofing material (1) is performed while the adhesive layer (4) is uncured.
