Abstract

PURPOSE:To promote the recycling of an original platen glass and to accomplish the reduction of a cost by mechanically holding the end part of the glass from above by a recess faced member without using a double coated adhesive tape. CONSTITUTION:A fixing screw 8 is screwed so that the long-length recess faced member 6 may push the end part of the glass 2 from above while making the recessed face face downward. And one end of the recessed face of the member 6 is made to abut on the glass 2, and the other end is made to abut on the glass holding member 1 of the product. As to the 2nd embodiment, a rubber-like elastic member is put into a gap between the surface of the glass and a projecting member on the end part of the glass. In the 2nd embodiment, the gap between the projecting member and the glass can be eliminated when a paper original is made to abut on the projecting member. Thus, the paper is prevented from coming into the gap. Furthermore, the rubber having close contactness is used, so that a frictional force is increased, and then, the deviation of the glass in use, etc., is prevented, and also, a shock is mitigated in some degree when the shock is given to the glass.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a glass fixing member for placing an original on a glass and copying the original.

2. Description of the Related Art Generally, it is necessary to accurately set an original on a glass in a copying machine. If this position shifts, the information may be lost due to the original image protruding from the transfer paper even if the copy is performed on the transfer paper having the proper magnification and the proper size.

Therefore, in general, a minute convex portion is linearly provided on the upper end portion of the glass on which the original is placed, and one side or two sides of the original are placed so as to be placed accurately.

1: Since the projecting member is attached with a double-sided tape, it is difficult to peel off the projecting member if the projecting member is mistakenly attached to a bent position. After peeling, the convex member will be deformed and cannot be reused.

<First Embodiment> is shown in FIG. The long and concave member 6 in FIG. 1 is pressed down onto the end of the glass 2 with the concave surface facing downward, and the fixing screw 8 is tightened. Then, one end of the concave surface of the member is applied to the glass, and the other end is applied to the glass holding member 1 of the product.

(Other Embodiments) As a second embodiment, as shown in FIG. 2, a rubber-like elastic member 7 is sandwiched between the end portions of the glass 2 and in the gap between the glass surface and the convex member 6. Sandwich.

In the second embodiment, when the paper original is applied to the convex member, the gap between the convex member and the glass can be eliminated. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the paper from getting into the gap. In addition, because it is sandwiched by rubber with good adhesion, the friction force improves,
It is possible to prevent the glass from being displaced during use, and it is also possible to soften the impact to some extent when the glass is impacted.
