(Prior art and its problems) A plastic tube with an egg-shaped cross section (hereinafter referred to as
Egg-shaped plastic tubes (simply referred to as ``egg-shaped plastic tubes'') increase the volume of water even when the flow rate is small, and the flow velocity inside the tube is faster than when a normal round tube is used, so it prevents solid matter such as filth from settling at the bottom of the tube. This has the advantage of being preventable. For this reason, this type of oval plastic pipe has come to be widely used as sewage piping.

By the way, conventional egg-shaped plastic pipes are made of hard resin such as vinyl chloride resin and do not have flexibility, so elbow joints or the like are used to connect the pipes at bends.

However, if the bent part of the pipe is connected using an elbow joint with a small radius of curvature, the flow velocity will be weakened, the characteristics of the oval pipe will be impaired, and solid matter such as filth will accumulate. It was hot.

In addition, when constructing this egg-shaped plastic piping, the arc center O1 of the top wall section and the arc center O2 of the bottom wall section should be set and connected so that they are perpendicular to each other, as shown in Fig. 3. However, when connecting one end P 1 of an egg-shaped plastic tube connecting a certain section to one end P 2 of the egg-shaped plastic tube connecting the other certain section via a pipe joint, it is necessary to tube end
There was a construction problem in that the pipes could not be connected even if P 2 was tilted by a small angle θ with respect to the vertical.

The present invention solves the drawbacks of the conventional egg-shaped plastic pipes, and by imparting flexibility to the pipes, pipes can be connected without the need for bending joints such as elbow joints. Another object of the present invention is to provide an egg-shaped plastic tube in which the tubes can be corrected to a vertical state by twisting the tubes and the tubes can be easily connected to each other.

(Means for Solving the Problem) The plastic tube of the present invention has an egg-shaped cross section in which a top wall portion 1 of a large diameter arc and a bottom wall portion 2 of a small diameter arc are continuous with a side wall portion 3 of a gentle arc. This tube is characterized in that the entire tube is made of a soft resin, and a reinforcing layer 4 made of a hard resin is provided only on the top wall portion 1 and the bottom wall portion 2.

The egg-shaped plastic tube P of the present invention has the entire tube made of soft resin to give the tube horizontal flexibility and twistability, and only the top wall 1 and bottom wall 2 are reinforced with hard resin. Layer 4 is provided so that the egg shape can be maintained without undue deformation of the part when subjected to earth pressure.

The thickness and width of the reinforcing layer 4 can be set as appropriate with this purpose in mind. It may also be provided on the peripheral wall side (see Figure 2). As shown in FIG. 2, when the reinforcing layer 4 is provided on the inner circumferential wall of the pipe, there is an advantage that the inner circumferential wall of the pipe can be prevented from being abraded and lost due to solid matter mixed in the fluid. .

Note that the resin used in the present invention includes thermoplastic resins such as vinyl chloride resin and polyethylene resin, but the soft resin that forms the entire pipe and the hard resin that forms the reinforcing layer 4 are of the same type. It may also be a combination of different types of resins. For example, the entire pipe may be made of soft vinyl chloride resin and the reinforcing layer 4 made of hard vinyl chloride resin, or the entire pipe may be made of polyethylene resin and the reinforcing layer 4 made of hard vinyl chloride resin. Good too.

(Operations and Effects of the Invention) As detailed above, the egg-shaped plastic tube of the present invention has the entire tube made of soft resin to give the tube horizontal flexibility and twistability, and the top wall of the tube A reinforcing layer 4 made of hard resin is provided only on the bottom wall portion, so that the egg shape can be maintained without undue deformation of this portion when subjected to earth pressure.

Therefore, if this egg-shaped plastic pipe is used, it is possible to make bent pipes without using elbow joints, etc., and when bent with a large radius of curvature, the flow velocity of the fluid inside the pipe does not decrease, so solids such as filth can be easily bent. will not be deposited at the bottom of the tube.

Furthermore, since the tubes can be easily adjusted to a vertical position by twisting them, the tubes can be connected together extremely easily.

Furthermore, since the reinforcing layer made of hard resin is provided only on the apex wall and the bottom wall of the pipe, the pipe does not bend partially, and the pipe can always be connected at a constant slope. Therefore, there is no fear that a portion of the piping will bend and solid matter such as dirt will accumulate.
