本発明は、エンドレス熱間圧延における巻取機の切換方

[従来の技術]
熱間圧延ラインにおいては圧延材をスラブ単位で粗圧延
および仕上圧延した後、巻取機でコイルに巻取る非連続

方式では圧延材を圧延機に噛込ませるときの衝撃荷重を
緩和する必要上、噛込み時の通板速度を制限する必要が
あり、また、圧延材の先端および後端の板厚および形状
調整する目的から圧延速度の変動を余儀なくされていた
。特に薄板の圧延を行う場合には通板時に圧延材の先端
部の浮上がりを防止するために巻取機のマンドレルへの
巻付き開始まで通板速度を制限していた。このように、
非連続圧延方式では、圧延速度が変動し、圧延効率が低
い上、先行圧延材の圧延と後続圧延材の圧延との間に段
取り等の無駄な時間があり設備の使用効率が低下してい
た。また、圧延材の先端および後端には仕上圧延後に形

[発明が解決しようとする課題1
上述の特開昭61−119326号公報では実施例の第
3図に示すようにデフレクタ5aを上下させることによ
り巻取機の切換を行っている。デフレクタ5aが上下す
るときのストリップ8に対する疵の発生を防ぐためにデ
フレクタ5aにはローラ6.7が設けられている。しか
し、ローラ6.7は狭いスペースに設置するため小さい
直径のものにならざるを得ない。ローラ7の直径が小さ
いためストリップ8のローラ7に当たる位置が少しずれ
ただけでストリップ8の案内方向が不安定になり、スト
リップが巻取不能になり易いという欠点がある。また、
デフレクタ5aの機構が複雑である。なお、第3図の1

に巻取る巻取機に向けて方向変換することを特徴とする

本発明は、シートバーを仕上圧延機入口より上流で接合

熱間圧延し、圧延されたストリップを巻取機人口の上流
で切断し、ストリップを直列に配設された複数の巻取機
に交互に切換えて連続的に巻取るエンドレス熱間圧延に
おける巻取機の切換方法に関するものであり、第1図は
