FIG. 1 shows one embodiment of the plate-shaped heating element according to this invention. As shown in the figure, this plate-shaped heating element 1 includes a plate-shaped molded body 2, electrode plates 3, 3, which are a means for supplying electricity to the plate-shaped molded body 2, and is attached to the surface of the plate-shaped molded body 2. The box body 5 serves as a protective material and accommodates the plate-shaped molded body 2, the electrode plates 3, 3, and the elastic material layer 9. Plate shaped body 2
is formed by dispersing a conductive material such as carbon fiber or carbon black in an inorganic material such as cement mixed with aggregate such as silica sand or coal ash. The electrode plates 3, 3 are each attached to the opposing butt sides of the plate-shaped molded body 2 with a conductive adhesive. The box body 5 has an outer wall 5a made of a steel plate and an inner wall 5b made of an insulating resin. The box body 5 is obtained by assembling steel plates coated with insulating resin on one side so that the insulating resin side faces inside. When used as a flooring material, the surface opposite to the mounting surface of the plate-shaped molded body 2,
That is, since the back surface serves as the mounting surface, the elastic material layer 9 is disposed on that surface. Therefore, even if something is dropped onto the plate-shaped heating element 1, the impact will be absorbed by the elastic material layer 9 and will not be transmitted to the plate-shaped molded body.
Note that the material forming the elastic material layer 9 is not particularly limited, and may include heat-resistant rubber, heat-resistant foamed resin material, and the like.

FIG. 2 shows an example of use of the plate-shaped heating element according to this invention in a floor heating system. As shown in the figure, the plate-shaped heating element 1 is placed on the main drawers 6, 6 and used as floor heating. It goes without saying that lead wires connected to a power source are led out from the electrode plates 3, 3 and connected to an external power source, although not shown. In the figure, 7 is a carpet. In this example, the joint of the steel plate at the bottom end of the box is made to protrude, but if it is made to protrude in this way, it will be easier to drive a nail or the like as a means of attachment to the mounting surface into this protrusion. It is convenient because it allows you to However, this protrusion may be provided as needed, and may not be provided.

The plate-shaped heating element according to this invention is not limited to the above embodiment. The elastic material layer may be provided on the mounting surface or may cover the entire surface of the plate-shaped molded body. Although the protective material does not need to be provided in advance, it is preferable that the protective material be provided in advance as in the embodiment because it facilitates attachment to a joist or the like.

As described above, the plate-shaped heating element according to this invention is made of a plate-shaped molded body in which a conductive material is dispersed in an inorganic material mixed with aggregate, and an elastic material layer having cushioning properties is provided on at least the surface of the plate-shaped molded body. Since the plate-shaped molded body and the elastic material layer are covered with a protective material, the rigidity of the plate-shaped molded body itself is high, and
The elastic material layer exhibits a cushioning effect, making it difficult for the plate-shaped molded product to be damaged and having excellent impact resistance, and the protective material protects the entire surface, resulting in excellent abrasion resistance. .
