Abstract

PURPOSE:To transfer the information of a high tone quality to only a specific area by providing a woofer in the center part of a reflector horn which a small box containing a loudspeaker confronts, and emitting smoothly a sound. CONSTITUTION:By an electric signal, an acoustic wave emitted from a tweeter contained in a small box 12 is reflected by a reflector horn 11 and the acoustic wave 16 is collected to a focus X2. In this case, a signal input taken in parallel from the same electric signal is applied to a woofer 17 integrated into the center part of the reflector horn 11. As a result, from a diaphragm 17a having a spherical shell-like curve, a low-pitched sound whose level is adjusted correctly by a built-in attenuator is emitted, and applied to the acoustic wave 16. The diaphragm 17a is constituted of a shape of the same curve as the spherical shell-like curve of the reflector horn 11, therefore, it has a part as the reflector horn 11, and can realize the directivity. In such a way, information of a high tone quality whose low-pitched sound sense is abundant can be transferred only to a person who is in a specific area.

[0006] First, an electric signal of sound is applied to a speaker in a small box 2 that houses the speaker via a wiring cord 3 to generate sound. Since the opening of the speaker is provided to face the reflector horn 1, the generated sound comes out from the small box 2 and is reflected by the reflector horn 1, as shown by the broken line 6 in FIG. The curved surface of the reflector horn 1 is composed of an ellipsoid, and the speaker of the small box 2 as a sound source is placed at one of the two focal points of the ellipse, and the speaker of the small box 2 as a sound source is placed near the other focal point X2. If the placement is so that the listener's ears are at the center of attention,
The sound emitted from the speaker can be collected at listening point X2,
Although it can be heard below the reflector horn 1, the sound is considerably attenuated when moving away from the position of X2, so it can only be heard by people in a certain area.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the above structure, in order to prevent reflection from the reflector horn 1 as much as possible, the small box 2 that houses the speaker as the sound source is made as small as possible. Since it is desirable to use a speaker with a small diameter, the sound quality tends to be lacking in bass. That is, when music is programmed, there is a problem in that the sound quality lacks bass.

[Means for Solving the Problem] In order to solve this problem, the directional speaker device of the present invention includes a spherical shell-shaped diaphragm having the same elliptical shape as the reflector horn in the center of the reflector horn. A bass speaker is installed,
The diaphragms are arranged so that their positions match as if they form a single ellipsoid.

[Operation] With this configuration, the bass speaker, which has a diaphragm shape that forms part of the ellipsoid of the reflector horn, is placed in a position where the ellipsoidal curves are smoothly connected. Reflector horn focus X2
It is possible to transmit the collected sound to people nearby as before, and furthermore, the bass speaker reproduces the bass part that is difficult to reproduce with the conventional small box 2. Compared to directional speaker devices, it is possible to reproduce high-quality sound with a sense of bass. In addition, since the bass sound has no directionality, it can be transmitted without being affected even if a box for middle and high frequencies is placed in front of the speaker, and it becomes the main body of information transmission. Even if the volume level of the bass part is somewhat lower than the level of the mid- and high-pitched sounds, it is possible to give a high-pitched sound with a bass feel compared to when there is no sound, and if the volume is at that level, it will not leak out from the reflector horn. The amount of sound emitted is not at a level that would impair the role of the directional speaker.

First, a sound wave emitted by an electric signal from a medium to high frequency speaker housed in a small box 12 is reflected by the reflector horn 11, and the reflected sound wave 16 is collected at a focal point X2. However, unless the speaker housed in the small box 12 is a small speaker of about 5 to 7 cm, the storage box will be large and will interfere with the reflection of sound waves, resulting in a sound quality that lacks bass. . However, signal inputs taken in parallel from the same electric signal are applied to the bass speaker 17 built into the center of the reflector horn 11, and are transmitted from the diaphragm 17a having a spherical shell curve to the built-in attenuator, etc. Since the bass sound whose level has been adjusted appropriately is emitted and added, high-quality sound with a sense of bass can be obtained. Also, the diaphragm 17a of the bass speaker 17
Since it has the same curved shape as the spherical shell-like curve of the reflector horn 11, it also serves as the reflector horn 11, and can achieve the same directivity as the conventional one.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the present invention prevents sound from leaking to areas other than the area facing the reflector horn by making a part of the spherical shell of the reflector horn double as the diaphragm of the bass speaker. It is possible to realize a directional speaker device that can considerably suppress the noise and transmit high-quality sound with richer bass than conventional devices to a specific area.
