た。2. Description of the Related Art The motion of a ship includes up-and-down motion in the vertical axis direction and pitching caused by periodic changes in buoyancy when waves pass. In particular, vertical upward movement is called heaving, and downward movement is called dipping, and in general, the sudden ups and downs of the ship caused by pitching (pitching) and vertical rocking (heaving, including dipping) of the ship. is cited as a major cause of seasickness, and seasickness is particularly affected by heaving. In order to suppress the movement of a ship, a bilge keel has conventionally been provided in the bilge portion of the ship along the ship's ship direction. However, since the bilge keel is installed in the bilge part away from the metacenter, although it functions effectively against rolling, etc., the bilge keel does not allow for the heating that occurs due to periodic changes in buoyancy when waves pass. It did not actively reduce bing.

すに至った。[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The applicant of the present invention has discovered that heaving is more likely to occur on ships with a small water contact area and low buoyancy, such as leisure boats, and has proposed that heaving may occur due to lack of buoyancy. I have come to the conclusion that this can be caused.

As a result, the buoyancy of the ship is substantially increased and the heaving is relatively low. In other words, heaving is substantially suppressed by the increase in buoyancy caused by the fins.

We have devised a ship heaving suppression device that effectively suppresses heaving.

。As shown in FIG. 1, on both side shell plates 2 of the monohull 1, there are holes located directly above the planned load water lines D, W, and L.
Fins 3 are attached along the planned full-load water lines D, W, and L. The width and length of the fins 3 are determined to be such that the monohull 1 has a sufficient surface area in contact with the waves and a large lifting force due to the waves can be obtained. In the present invention, in order for the fins 3 to also function as fenders and to improve the ease of attachment and removal of the fins 3 to the ship's side shell plating 2, a plurality of fins made of a hard rubber material are used as shown in FIG. The fin segment 3a constitutes the fin 3. These fin division bodies 3a are attached to the side shell plate 2 by bolts 4 so as to be parallel to the planned load water lines D, W, and L as shown in FIG.
Attached by FIG. 4 shows an example in which the above-mentioned fin 3 is attached to a catamaran 5. As in the above embodiment, the fin 3 is connected to the planned load water line D and W of both hulls 6 and 7.
・Planned full load water lines D and W are placed on the ship's side shell plating 2 directly above L.
・It is integrally attached with bolt 4 along L.

In addition, the fins 3 provided along the planned full-load water lines D, W, and L have a sufficient contact area with respect to passing waves, so they receive appropriate lift from the waves and obtain sufficient buoyancy. . In other words, even when the influence of waves is large, sufficient lift can be obtained from the waves by the fins 3. As a result, the degree of pitching and pitching acceleration of the monohull 1 and catamaran 5 become relatively small, and heaving, which has conventionally been a cause of seasickness, is suppressed. The fins 3 also receive lift from the air during navigation, which is advantageous in terms of buoyancy.

Incidentally, it is natural that a vessel having a small contact area with water, such as a leisure boat, be provided with fins 3 having a large contact area with water to ensure sufficient buoyancy.
