Abstract

PURPOSE:To sharply and certainly develop a joint pattern to a part or all of the outer periphery of a tile by molding the tile in a mold whose groove depth is made larger than the thickness of the first layer sheet and smaller than the sum of the thicknesses of the first and second layer sheets and removing the protruding part on the periphery of the molded tile so as to make said periphery flush with the central plane of the tile. CONSTITUTION:A joint forming groove 5 is provided to the entire periphery of a mold and the depth of the groove 5 is made larger than the thickness of the first layer sheet 1 and smaller than the sum of the thicknesses of the first and second layer sheets 1,2 to mold a tile. A tile surface material 1 and a joint part material 2 are separately compounded and kneaded to be formed into a sheet by a heating roll. A black rubber material for the rear base of the tile is compounded and kneaded to be formed into a sheet by a heating roll and three layers of the sheets 1,2,3 are successively charged in a mold having a recessed part and vulcanized under heating to perform press molding. The protruding part of the tile joint part of the molded product is ground and the joint part material 2 is made flush with the surface 1 of a tile.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, when considering the harmony of the floor surface, joints are often required between tiles. There are methods such as inserting rod-shaped joint materials or injecting liquid material and letting it harden, but all of these methods require a great deal of labor during construction.

Another method is to place a resin strip of a different color around a mold with a normal rectangular parallelepiped content, and then put a raw material sheet of a different color into the mold and mold it, but the boundary pattern collapses due to flow during molding and is not clear. There were drawbacks.

The present invention uses a mold in which grooves are provided on part or all of the sides of the inner surface of the mold, and a raw material sheet that is to be the center part of the tile is placed in the first layer, a raw material sheet that is to be the joint part is placed in the second layer, and further as necessary. When inserting and molding a raw material sheet to serve as a base as the third layer, the depth of the groove in the mold must be greater than the thickness of the first layer sheet and the thickness of the first layer sheet and the second layer sheet. A method for manufacturing a tile with a joint pattern, which is characterized in that the tile is molded to be smaller than the sum of the sum, and the protrusions around the periphery of the molded tile are removed so as to be flush with the central plane of the tile.

First, regarding two types of materials: tile surface material 4 with the formulation shown in Table 1 and joint material 5 with the formulation shown in Table 2.
Blend each separately, knead, and roll 1.
The mixture was sheeted to a thickness of 5 mm, and then black rubber material 6 for tile back base was compounded according to the formulation shown in Table 3, freshly kneaded, and sheeted to a thickness of 2 ml and 11 mm using a heating roll. Each of the three layers of sheets (4° 5.6 mm) was sequentially charged into a mold having recesses around the entire periphery of the tile or a mold having recesses on two adjacent sides, and press-molded by heating and vulcanizing according to a conventional method.
