Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable stable paper sheet transport operation by constituting so as to select a transport force suitable for paper sheets when paper sheets of different thickness or paper sheets for special use are used. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 1 detects the thickness of continuous paper sheet 10 to be transported. Then, a control part 2 receives the signal from this sensor 1 and judges the thickness of the continuous paper sheet 10 thereby, and outputs a control signal 11 to a motor 4. The motor 4 which receives the control signal 11 from the control part 2 rotates by an angle corresponding to the transport force designated by the control signal. The rotation of this motor 4 causes a cam 5 which is directly connected thereto to be rotated and a lever 6 is driven by means of the cam 5. The operation of this lever 6 causes the deflection of a plate spring 7 to be changed. The change in the deflection of this plate spring 7 causes a change in the contact pressure of a feed roller 8 with a feed roller 9, resulting in the required transport force.

ードローラとの接触圧力を変化させる板ばねとを備えて

し、カム5によってレバー6が駆動される。レバー6が
動作すると板ばね7がその撓み量を変化させる。この板
ばね7の撓み量の変化により、フィードローラ8とフィ
ードローラ9との接触圧力が変化して所望の搬送力とな
る。特殊な用紙を使用する場合は、オペレータがパネル
3からモータ4の回転角度を指定することにより、所望
の搬送力に制御することができる。
