Abstract

PURPOSE:To stabilize sliding on the entire sliding face by disposing a solid lubricant at a position where the sliding face of a current collecting brush, extending in the longitudinal direction and elongated in the moving direction, begins to slide on the side of traveling direction. CONSTITUTION:A bearing member 6 is pushed up by means of an arm 4 which is energized by a spring (not shown). A current collecting brush 1 is fixed to a holder 2, resin molded integrally with a holder receiver 3 pivoted 31 to the bearing member 6 thus pressing a trolley conductor 5 upward. Face 11 to be slid of a current collecting brush l is elongated in the longitudinal direction of the trolley conductor 5 and set at a predetermined dimension in the widthwise direction. The current collecting brush l is made of a sintered copper alloy composed of 82wt.% of copper, 9wt.% of carbon and 9wt.% of other element. A solid lubricant composed of graphite. baron nitride. or the like is filled in holes 10(10') made at the position where the surface 11 to be slid of the current collecting brush l begins to slide in the advancing direction. According to the constitution, frictional coefficient between the faces 51 and 11 to be slid is lowered over the entire face resulting in a stabilized current collection.

Now, the biggest problem for this type of current collector brush is disconnection that occurs when the trolley conductor slides, and especially for those that are responsible for transmitting signals such as delicate pulses, instantaneous MW. However, there is a risk that pulses may be missing, causing transmission errors and causing malfunctions in the controlled equipment.

Conventionally, applying lubricating oil to the sliding surfaces has been considered as a solution to such problems, but the applied oil mixes with the wear particles and cannot maintain the original state of application. In addition, there was a secondary problem of increased fouling, and furthermore, oil had to be replenished periodically, which was not economical.

One end of the arm 4 was pivotally connected to the mobile device, and the other end of the arm 4 was pivotally supported. Then, the holder 2 is pushed up by the tilting force biased by the spring force on the arm 4, and the current collecting brush 1 is pressed against the trolley conductor 5 by a predetermined force.
It was intended to be used for sliding.

However, when the collector brush 1 supported in the above manner is advanced as shown by the left arrow and slid on the trolley conductor 5, it is pressed against the trolley conductor 5 at a portion a where sliding starts on the advancing direction side. The force is concentrated, the frictional force increases here, and a catch occurs, and that part a becomes a fulcrum and vibrates, that is, the sliding part on the rear side separates from the trolley conductor 5 ( The broken line state B) and the normal sliding state (solid line state) are repeated momentarily,
In the end, it was found that the sliding at point a, where sliding starts, becomes unstable, leading to instantaneous disconnection.

The present invention was made based on this knowledge, and is capable of sliding stably over the entire sliding surface that extends in the length direction of the trolley conductor and is elongated in the direction of movement. It is an object of the present invention to provide a current collector brush of this type which is economically advantageous.

[Means and effects for solving the problem] The current collector brush for a trolley conductor provided by the present invention has a solid body at a position where sliding starts on the traveling direction side on the sliding surface elongated in the length direction of the trolley conductor. This is where lubricant is placed.

By doing the above, the sliding surface, which extends in the length direction of the trolley conductor and is elongated in the direction of movement, concentrates pressing force at the position where it starts sliding in the direction of movement, but at the same position. Since the solid lubricant immediately slides on the trolley conductor at this point and lowers the coefficient of friction, there is no chance of the trolley getting caught at the sliding start position, and vibrations on the rear side can be suppressed. In addition, since the abrasion powder of the solid lubricant placed at the sliding start position flows backward as it slides, the solid lubricant is spread over the entire sliding surface, resulting in an extremely smooth surface without galling in local areas. Sliding can be accomplished.

The arm 4 has an elastic member such as a helical spring stretched between the parallel arms, so that it can store a tilting force that pushes up the holder receiver 3, and in turn, The predetermined pressing of the sliding surface II of the electric brush 1 against the sliding surface 5I of the trolley conductor 5 provides a force.

If the collector brush 1 as described above is now moved and slid as shown by the left arrow, a large pressing force will be applied to the position where sliding starts on the advancing direction side, but the solid lubricant 10 is the sliding surface 5. of the trolley conductor 5. Since the sliding surface 1. is immediately rubbed and worn, the friction coefficient decreases despite the force of such large pressing, and there is no possibility of a jamming condition, and as a result, the sliding surface 1. It is possible to suppress vibrations in the rear portion of the vehicle.

As described above, the solid lubricant IO wears out at the position where it starts sliding, so the wear powder flows backward, and eventually the sliding surface 1. The frictional force increases in one part and prevents galling from occurring.

In addition, when the current collector brush 1 is made to run not only in the direction of the left arrow but also in the direction of the right arrow, it is arranged at sliding start positions at both ends of the sliding surface 1. (See 10'.) In the figure, 7 is a lead cable whose one end is connected to the current collector brush 1 and which is led out from the holder 2.
