Description
本発明の一実施形態において、前記非イオン性光酸発生剤は、下記の化学式1で表される酸化合物を発生させるものであってよい。
本発明の一実施形態において、前記非イオン性光酸発生剤は、全体組成物100重量%に対し、0.1~10重量%の量で含まれてよい。
本発明の一実施形態において、前記量子ドットは、表面上に配位子層を有するものである。
R’及びR’’は、それぞれ独立して、水素原子;カルボキシル基;フェニル基;又はチオール基で置換若しくは非置換のC1~C20のアルキル基であり、
R’とR”とは、同時に水素原子;フェニル基;又は非置換のC1~C20のアルキル基ではなく、
nは、1~20の整数である。
前記化学式4で表される化合物は、量子ドットの総表面積に対し、5%以上の表面を覆っていてよい。
本発明の一実施形態において、前記硬化性モノマー(B)は、25℃で30cP以下の粘度、例えば、5~30cPの粘度を有する硬化性モノマー、すなわち低粘度の硬化性モノマーを含む。
本発明の一実施形態において、前記非イオン性光酸発生剤(C)は、光又は放射線の作用によって酸を発生させることができる化合物であって、量子ドットの表面酸化を引き起こさないため量子ドットの光特性の低下を生じさせなくて済む。
本発明の一実施形態において、前記非イオン性光酸発生剤は、下記の化学式5~化学式8で表される化合物のうちの一つ以上を含んでよい。
本発明の一実施形態に係る光変換インク組成物は、散乱粒子(D)を更に含んでよい。
本発明の一実施形態に係る光変換インク組成物は、光重合開始剤(E)を更に含んでよい。
本発明の一実施形態に係る光変換インク組成物は、前記した成分の他、添加剤(F)を更に含んでよい。
本発明に係る光変換インク組成物のパターン形成方法は、上述した光変換インク組成物をインクジェット方式で所定の領域に塗布するステップ、及び該塗布された光変換インク組成物を硬化させるステップを含んでなる。
本発明に係る画像表示装置は、上述したカラーフィルタを備えたことを除いては、当該技術分野において周知の構成を含む。
インジウムアセテート(Indium acetate)0.4mmol(0.058g)、パルミチン酸(palmitic acid)0.6mmol(0.15g)、及び1-オクタデセン(1-octadecene)20mLを反応器に入れ、真空下、120℃で加熱した。1時間後に反応器内の雰囲気を窒素に置換した。280℃で加熱した後、トリス(トリメチルシリル)ホスフィン(TMS3P)0.2mmol(58μl)及びトリオクチルホスフィン1.0mLの混合溶液を素早く注入し、1分間反応させた。
次いで、反応物に25mLのn-ヘキサンを入れて量子ドットを沈澱させた後、遠心分離を実施して量子ドット(Q-1)を得た。
量子ドット(Q-1)47.6重量部と希釈液として低粘度モノマーのイソボルニルアクリレート52.4重量部とを混合し、窒素雰囲気下、60℃で加熱しながら4時間反応させて、量子ドット分散液(A-1)を製造した。
量子ドット(Q-1)47.6重量部と希釈液として低粘度モノマーの1,6-ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート52.4重量部とを混合し、窒素雰囲気下、60℃で加熱しながら4時間反応させて、量子ドット分散液(A-2)を製造した。
量子ドット(Q-1)47.6重量部と希釈液として高粘度モノマーのジトリメチロールプロパンテトラ(メタ)アクリレート52.4重量部とを混合し、窒素雰囲気下、60℃で加熱しながら4時間反応させて、量子ドット分散液(A-3)を製造した。
散乱粒子として粒径210nmのTiO2(石原産業社製のCR-63)70.0重量部、分散剤としてDISPERBYK-2001(BYK社製)4.0重量部、及び希釈液として低粘度モノマーの1,6-ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート26重量部をビーズミルにて12時混合及び分散して、散乱粒子分散液(D-1)を製造した。
下記の表1及び表2の組成でそれぞれの成分を混合して光変換インク組成物を製造した(重量%)。
A-2:製造例2で製造された量子ドット分散液(希釈液として1,6-ヘキサンジオールジアクリレートを含む)
A-3:製造例3で製造された量子ドット分散液(希釈液としてジトリメチロールプロパンテトラ(メタ)アクリレートを含む)
B-1:イソボルニルアクリレート(粘度:5~10cP、25℃)
B-2:1,6-ヘキサンジオールジアクリレート(粘度:5~10cP、25℃)
B-3:ジトリメチロールプロパンテトラ(メタ)アクリレート(粘度:400~600cP、25℃)
C-1:下記の化学式5で表される化合物
E-1:TPO(BASF社製)
F-1:F-554(DIC社製)。
前記実施例及び比較例で製造された光変換インク組成物を用いて下記のように光変換コーティング層を製造し、このときの膜厚、輝度、分散性、高湿条件信頼性、及び粘度を下記のような方法にて測定し、その結果を下記の表3及び表4に表した。
実施例及び比較例で製造されたそれぞれの光変換インク組成物をインクジェット方式で5cm×5cmガラス基板の上に塗布した後、紫外線光源としてg、h、i線をいずれも含有する1kWの高圧水銀灯を用いて1000mJ/cm2で照射後、180℃の加熱オーブンで30分間加熱して、光変換コーティング層を製造した。
前記で製造された光変換コーティング層の膜厚を、膜厚測定器(Dektak 6M、Vecco社製)を用いて測定した。
前記で製造された光変換コーティング層を青色(blue)光源(XLamp XR-E LED、Royal blue 450、Cree社製)の上に位置させた後、輝度測定器(CAS140CT Spectrometer、Instrument systems社製)を用いて、青色光の照射時の輝度を測定した。
前記光変換インク組成物の製造過程で、散乱粒子を投入する前の液状試料を目視にて確認して、下記の評価基準に従い評価した。

○:透明な状態
×:混濁している状態
(4)高湿条件信頼性
前記で製造された光変換コーティング層に対し、高湿条件による発光効率特性の変化を下記の数学式1にて確認した。具体的に、前記光変換コーティング層を12時間85%の高湿条件で放置し、放置前後の発光効率を測定して、下記に数学式1にて発光効率保持率を求めた。

発光効率保持率(%)={(高湿条件放置後の発光効率)/(高湿条件放置前の発光効率)}×100
高湿条件信頼性は下記の評価基準に従い評価した。
<評価基準>
○:発光効率保持率が90%以上
×:発光効率保持率が90%未満。
前記光変換インク組成物の粘度を、R型粘度計(VISCOMETER MODEL RE120L SYSTEM、東機産業株式会社製)を用い、回転数20rpm、温度25℃の条件で測定した。
Claims (10)
- 量子ドット、硬化性モノマー、及び非イオン性光酸発生剤を含み、
前記硬化性モノマーは、25℃で30cP以下の粘度を有する硬化性モノマーから構成される、光変換インク組成物。 - 前記硬化性モノマーは、25℃で30cP以下の粘度を有する単官能(メタ)アクリレート又は多官能(メタ)アクリレートを含む、請求項1に記載の光変換インク組成物。
- 前記非イオン性光酸発生剤は、下記の化学式1で表される酸化合物を発生させるものである、請求項1に記載の光変換インク組成物:
前記式中、Rは、C1~C4の脂肪族炭化水素基である。 - 前記非イオン性光酸発生剤は、下記の化学式2~3で表される化合物のうちの一つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の光変換インク組成物:
前記式中、Rは、C1~C4の脂肪族炭化水素基である。 - 前記非イオン性光酸発生剤は、全体組成物100重量%に対し、0.1~10重量%の量で含まれる、請求項1に記載の光変換インク組成物。
- 散乱粒子、光重合開始剤、界面活性剤、及び酸化防止剤からなる群より選ばれる一つ以上を更に含む、請求項1に記載の光変換インク組成物。
- 溶剤を1重量%以下の量で含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の光変換インク組成物。
- 請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の光変換インク組成物の硬化物を含む光変換画素。
- 請求項8に記載の光変換画素を含むカラーフィルタ。
- 請求項9に記載のカラーフィルタが備えられたことを特徴とする画像表示装置。
