Claims (7)
- 複数のティースに巻回された固定子コイルを有する固定子と、永久磁石及び前記永久磁石を収容する永久磁石収容孔を周方向に複数備えた回転子とを備え、前記回転子には複数の磁極が周方向に沿って配置された永久磁石同期機において、
前記永久磁石は平板状に形成され、
周方向に延びる前記永久磁石収容孔の一辺が、1極を構成する前記永久磁石の磁極中心軸に対して直交するように形成され、
前記永久磁石の径方向外側面と前記回転子の外周端部とで構成され、前記永久磁石の開き角τmで切り取られる部分のコア外周部の断面積は、前記永久磁石収容孔の断面積よりも小さくなるよう構成され、
前記磁極の開き角τpと前記永久磁石の開き角τmとの比τm/τpが式(1)を満足し、かつ、前記永久磁石による固定子コイル鎖交磁束Ψpと、電流I(Arms)通電時の直軸インダクタンスLd及び横軸インダクタンスLqと、を用いて式(2)によって定義されるリラクタンストルク比αが、0.60以上としたことを特徴とする永久磁石同期機。
- 請求項1において、
前記永久磁石は一つの前記永久磁石収容孔内で複数個に分割されて配置されたことを特徴とする永久磁石同期機。 - 請求項1において、
前記永久磁石の残留磁束密度は0.6T以上であることを特徴とする永久磁石同期機。 - 請求項3において、
前記永久磁石はネオジム磁石であることを特徴とする永久磁石同期機。 - 複数の車輪と、前記複数の車輪のうち、少なくとも一つの車輪を駆動する永久磁石同期機と、電力を変換して前記永久磁石同期機に交流電力を供給する電力変換装置とを備えた電動機車両において、
前記請求項1に記載の永久磁石同期機を備えたことを特徴とする電動機車両。 - 請求項5において、
架線から電力を集電する集電装置を備え、前記電力変換装置は前記集電装置で集電された電力を変換することを特徴とする電動機車両。 - 請求項5において、
バッテリーを備え、前記電力変換装置は前記バッテリーから供給された電力を変換することを特徴とする電動機車両。
