Claims (18)
- eベイパー装置であって、
プレベイパー製剤を保持するように構成された貯蔵部であって、前記プレベイパー製剤を出口から放出するように構成された出口を画定する貯蔵部と、
前記貯蔵部から放出された前記プレベイパー製剤を加熱して、ベイパーを発生するように構成されたヒーターと、
ベイピングが生じていない時に前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封するように構成された、かつベイピングが生じている時に前記出口を密封解除するように構成されたバイメタルアクチュエータであって、前記バイメタルアクチュエータへと電流が印加されると、前記バイメタルアクチュエータが前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封解除するように構成される、前記バイメタルアクチュエータと、
前記貯蔵部から放出された前記プレベイパー製剤と流体連通するように、かつ前記ベイピング中に前記ヒーターと熱的接触するように配設された芯とを備え、前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、前記ベイピングが生じていない時に前記プレベイパー製剤が前記芯の中に連続的に引き出されないように前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封するように構成された、eベイパー装置。 - 前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、第一の温度の時に前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封するように、デフォルトの第一の位置になるように構成された、かつより高い第二の温度の時に前記出口を密封解除するように、第二の位置に偏向するように構成された温度感受性構造である、請求項1に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、前記第一の温度が摂氏約60度以下である時に前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、前記第二の温度が摂氏約100度以上である時に前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封解除するように構成されている、請求項2に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、前記ベイピング中に前記ヒーターが起動されている時に、前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封解除するように構成されている、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、前記ヒーターからの廃熱に基づいて、前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封解除するように構成されている、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、前記貯蔵部を密封するために前記出口と嵌合するように構成された係合部分を有する、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータの前記係合部分が、円錐形状または円錐台形状を有する、請求項7に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、異なる熱膨張係数を有する材料を含む積層構造を有する、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータが、第二の層に結合された第一の層を含み、前記第一の層の熱膨張係数が前記第二の層の熱膨張係数よりも高く、前記第一の層が前記貯蔵部の前記出口に面している、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記第一の層の前記熱膨張係数が、前記第二の層の熱膨張係数より少なくとも4×10-6K-1大きい、請求項10に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記バイメタルアクチュエータの前記第一の層が銅を含む、請求項10または請求項11に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記ヒーターおよび前記バイメタルアクチュエータに電流を供給するように構成された電源、をさらに備える、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のeベイパー装置。
- 前記電源が、前記ヒーターおよび前記バイメタルアクチュエータに前記電流を同時に供給するように構成された電池である、請求項13に記載のeベイパー装置。
- ベイピング中にヒーターと熱的接触する芯を有するeベイパー装置内のプレベイパー製剤の流れを制御する方法であって、
前記ベイピングが生じていない時に前記プレベイパー製剤が前記芯の中に連続的に引き出されないように、バイメタルアクチュエータを用いて貯蔵部の出口を密封することであって、前記貯蔵部が前記eベイパー装置内に配設され、かつ前記プレベイパー製剤を保持するように構成されている、密封することと、
前記芯が前記貯蔵部から放出された前記プレベイパー製剤と流体連通するように、ベイピングが開始された時に前記貯蔵部の前記出口を密封解除するために、前記バイメタルアクチュエータに電流を印加することと、をさらに含む、方法。 - 前記電流の前記印加が、前記バイメタルアクチュエータを前記出口から離れるように偏向させて前記貯蔵部を密封解除する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記貯蔵部の前記出口の前記密封が、前記ベイピングが停止した時から1分未満で生じる、請求項15または請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記貯蔵部の前記出口の前記密封が、前記ベイピング中に各吸煙後に生じる、請求項15、16または17に記載の方法。
