Description
図2は、一実施形態に係る電池モジュールにおいて、HVターミナルを覆うシーリング部を図示した部分斜視図である。図2を参照すると、本発明に係る電池モジュールは、HVターミナルが電池モジュールケース101の内部に収容され、電池モジュールケースに形成された開口113に上記HVターミナルを外部と電気的に連結するシーリング部110が挿入された構造である。上記開口にはねじ山が形成されているので、ねじ締結方式を通じてシーリング部が締結され得る。また、上記シーリング部110から外部に露出された端部の中央部位には、ボルト締結のための溝が形成され、上記溝を通じてモジュールバスバー締結用のボルト120が締結される。そのゆえ、シーリング部及びモジュールバスバー締結用のボルトもねじ締結方式によって締結される。
図4は、本発明の一実施形態に係る電池モジュールにおいて、電池モジュールケースにシーリング部を締結する過程を示した部分斜視図である。図4を参照すると、シーリング部110にはモジュールバスバー締結用のボルト120を締結するための溝が形成され、上記溝の周辺には等間隔に配列された3個の凹部が形成された構造である。上記凹部は、電池モジュールケース101にシーリング部110を締結するとき、シーリング部の締結ツール210に接触する位置である。上記シーリング部の締結ツール210は、ボディー部211から延長された3個の凸部212が形成された構造である。上記シーリング部の締結ツール210の凸部212は、シーリング部110の外部に露出された凹部に対応される形状である。シーリング部の締結ツール210の凸部212をシーリング部110の凹部に挿入した状態で、上記シーリング部の締結ツール210を回転させてシーリング部110を電池モジュールケース101に装着することになる。
図5は、本発明の一実施形態に係る電池モジュールにおいて、HVターミナルを覆うシーリング部にモジュールバスバーが締結された様子を図示した部分断面図である。図5を参照すると、HVターミナル102は電池モジュールケースの内部に収容された構造であり、かつシーリング部110と電気的に連結された構造である。上記シーリング部110は、電池モジュールケースにねじ締結を通じて固定された構造であり、シーリング部110と電池モジュールケース101との間の接触部位には、O-リング111が位置する。上記O-リング111を形成することによって、シーリング部110と電池モジュールケース101との間の締結部位に沿って外部の水分が浸透する経路を遮断することになる。

Claims (13)
- 複数個の電池セルを収容し、かつ一側にねじ山が形成された開口が形成された電池モジュールケースと、
前記複数個の電池セルから引出された電極リードと電気的に接続された構造のHVターミナルと、
前記電池モジュールケースの開口に挿入および締結されるシーリング部と、
を含み、
前記シーリング部は、前記HVターミナルを外部と電気的に連結し、前記シーリング部の一側端部が前記HVターミナルと接触し、前記シーリング部の他側端部が前記電池モジュールケースの外部に露出されてモジュールバスバーと接触する構造であり、
前記HVターミナルには挿入溝が形成されており、前記シーリング部の前記一側端部が前記挿入溝に挿入されており、
前記HVターミナルは前記電池モジュールケース内に位置し、外部に露出されない構造である、電池モジュール。 - 前記シーリング部は、
前記外部に露出される端部の直径が前記開口の直径より大きい構造である、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記シーリング部は、前記HVターミナルの前記挿入溝に挿入される部分の直径が前記開口の直径より小さい構造である、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュールバスバーは、前記シーリング部とモジュールバスバー締結用のボルトとの間に締結される構造であり、
前記電池モジュールケースと前記シーリング部との間の締結、および前記シーリング部と前記モジュールバスバー締結用のボルトとの間の締結はそれぞれ、ねじ締結方式によって行われる、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。 - 前記シーリング部の外部に露出された端部には、前記ボルトを締結するための溝が形成されており、前記溝には前記モジュールバスバー締結用のボルトが挿入される、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記シーリング部の外側に露出された端部に形成された前記溝には、前記ボルトを挿入するためのねじ山が形成された、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池モジュールケースと前記シーリング部との間の締結方向、および前記シーリング部と前記モジュールバスバー締結用のボルトとの間のねじ締結方向は同一である、請求項4に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記シーリング部の外部に露出された端部には、等間隔に配列された3個~5個の凹部が形成された構造である、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池モジュールケースと前記シーリング部の接触部位に位置するO-リングをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記シーリング部は導電性金属素材である、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
