Description
上記挟み角は、基準状態の中心線を含む軸方向断面において、外側トラック溝および内側トラック溝がボールに接する一対の接点の接線の交差角度で、接点部分が直線であれば、その直線の交差角度である。
また、第1溝部を含む折曲げ平面で等速自在継手が折り曲げられた場合に、ジョイント角の全域で第1溝部の挟み角が外側継手部材のカップ開口側に向かって開いているとともに挟み角の絶対値が基準状態における第2溝部の挟み角の絶対値よりも大きい状態に維持されるため、ジョイント角の全域で第1溝部の挟み角によるボールの押し出し荷重が比較的大きい状態に維持される。これにより、曲げ方向に応じてその押し出し荷重によるボールの移動でケージを円滑に回動させることができる。

Claims (4)
- 内周面に複数の外側トラック溝が設けられたカップ状の外側継手部材と、
外周面に複数の内側トラック溝が設けられて、前記外側継手部材の内側に配設される内側継手部材と、
前記外側トラック溝と前記内側トラック溝との間に介在させられてトルク伝達する複数のボールと、
円環形状を成して前記外側継手部材と前記内側継手部材との間に配設され、前記ボールを保持する複数のポケットが設けられたケージと、
を備え、且つ、前記外側継手部材および前記内側継手部材の各中心線が一直線上に位置するジョイント角が0degの基準状態で、前記外側トラック溝および前記内側トラック溝が前記ボールを挟む挟み角が前記外側継手部材のカップ開口側に向かって開く第1溝部と、前記挟み角が前記外側継手部材のカップ奥側に向かって開く第2溝部とを有し、該第1溝部および該第2溝部が前記中心線まわりに交互に設けられているとともに、該中心線を挟んで対称位置に該第1溝部および該第2溝部が配置されている等速自在継手において、
前記基準状態における前記第1溝部の挟み角の絶対値は、前記基準状態における前記第2溝部の挟み角の絶対値よりも大きい一方、
前記第1溝部を含む折曲げ平面で前記等速自在継手が折り曲げられた場合に、ジョイント角の全域で前記第1溝部の挟み角は前記外側継手部材のカップ開口側に向かって開いているとともに該挟み角の絶対値は前記基準状態における前記第2溝部の挟み角の絶対値よりも大きい状態に維持される
ことを特徴とする等速自在継手。 - 前記基準状態における前記第1溝部の挟み角の絶対値は、前記基準状態における前記第2溝部の挟み角の絶対値よりも2deg~10degの範囲内で大きくされている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の等速自在継手。 - 前記第1溝部および前記第2溝部における前記外側トラック溝および前記内側トラック溝の軸方向断面の溝底形状は、少なくともジョイント角が5deg以下の小曲げ領域で前記ボールに接する範囲では直線である
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の等速自在継手。 - 前記第1溝部および前記第2溝部を合わせた合計の溝部の数は6または10である
ことを特徴とする請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載の等速自在継手。
