Description
例えば、特許文献1には、三次元造形物を構成する光硬化樹脂と、該光硬化樹脂を支持する補助材料と、を用い、製造中の三次元造形物を切削して、三次元造形物を製造する三次元造形物の製造方法が開示されている。
上記課題を解決するための本発明の第1の態様の金属造形物の製造方法は、造形データに基づいて金属造形物を製造する金属造形物の製造方法であって、前記造形データの入力工程と、前記金属造形物を構成する金属粒子と熱可塑性樹脂とを含む構成材料を用いて、構成材料層を形成する構成材料層形成工程と、セラミックス粒子と熱可塑性樹脂とを含む支持材料を用いて、前記構成材料層を支持する支持材料層を形成する支持材料層形成工程と、前記構成材料層形成工程と前記支持材料層形成工程とを実行することにより形成された積層体の前記構成材料層における切削面を切削する切削面切削工程と、前記切削面切削工程が実行された前記積層体に含まれる熱可塑性樹脂を脱脂する脱脂工程と、前記積層体を加熱することにより前記金属粒子を焼結する焼結工程と、を有し、前記支持材料層形成工程は、前記造形データに基づいて、前記構成材料層の位置における前記切削面とは反対側の被支持面に、支持面が接触するよう前記支持材料層を形成することを特徴とする。
最初に、本発明の一の実施形態に係る金属造形物の製造装置1の概要について図1から図4を参照して説明する。
ここで、図中のX方向は水平方向であり、Y方向は水平方向であるとともにX方向と直交する方向であり、Z方向は鉛直方向である。
[実施例1]
最初に、図5のフローチャート及び図6を用いて、実施例1の金属造形物の製造方法について説明する。本実施例の金属造形物の製造方法は、金属造形物の製造装置1及び不図示の恒温槽を用いて行った。なお、本実施例の金属造形物の製造方法を実行することにより、図6の一番下の図で表される焼結体26を作成した。
次に、図7のフローチャート及び図8を用いて、実施例2の金属造形物の製造方法について説明する。本実施例の金属造形物の製造方法は、実施例1の金属造形物の製造方法と同様、上記の金属造形物の製造装置1及び不図示の恒温槽を用いて行った。なお、本実施例の金属造形物の製造方法を実行することにより、図8の一番下の図で表される焼結体26を作成した。

Claims (5)
- 造形データに基づいて金属造形物を製造する金属造形物の製造方法であって、
前記造形データの入力工程と、
前記金属造形物を構成する金属粒子と熱可塑性樹脂とを含む構成材料を用いて、構成材料層を形成する構成材料層形成工程と、
セラミックス粒子と熱可塑性樹脂とを含む支持材料を用いて、前記構成材料層を支持する支持材料層を形成する支持材料層形成工程と、
前記構成材料層形成工程と前記支持材料層形成工程とを実行することにより形成された積層体の前記構成材料層における切削面を切削する切削面切削工程と、
前記切削面切削工程が実行された前記積層体に含まれる熱可塑性樹脂を脱脂する脱脂工程と、
前記脱脂工程が実行された前記積層体を加熱することにより前記金属粒子を焼結する焼結工程と、
を有し、
前記支持材料層形成工程は、前記造形データに基づいて、前記構成材料層の位置における前記切削面とは反対側の被支持面に、支持面が接触するよう前記支持材料層を形成することを特徴とする金属造形物の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載された金属造形物の製造方法において、
前記支持材料層形成工程を実行した後に前記構成材料層形成工程を実行し、
前記支持材料層形成工程の実行後、前記構成材料層形成工程の実行前に、前記被支持面を支持する前記支持面を切削する支持材料切削工程を実行することを特徴とする金属造形物の製造方法。 - 請求項1または2に記載された金属造形物の製造方法において、
前記切削面及び前記被支持面は、前記積層体の積層方向と交差する方向に面し、
前記支持材料層形成工程は、前記被支持面を支持する位置に加えて、前記構成材料層における前記積層方向に面する積層方向面を支持する位置にも、前記支持材料層を形成することを特徴とする金属造形物の製造方法。 - 請求項3に記載された金属造形物の製造方法において、
前記切削面切削工程が実行された前記積層体における前記積層方向面を支持する前記支持材料層を除去する除去工程と、
前記除去工程が実行された前記積層体における前記積層方向面を切削する積層方向面切削工程と、
を有し、
前記脱脂工程は、前記積層方向面切削工程を実行した後に実行されることを特徴とする金属造形物の製造方法。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載された金属造形物の製造方法において、
前記脱脂工程の実行前に、前記支持材料層を切削することで前記支持面と交差する方向における前記支持材料層の厚みを調整する厚み調整工程を実行することを特徴とする金属造形物の製造方法。
