Description
まず、本実施形態に係る加熱システムを適用可能な還元剤供給装置を含む尿素SCRシステムの全体構成の一例について説明する。図1は、尿素SCRシステムの構成例を示す模式図である。
次に、本実施形態にかかる還元剤供給装置10の構成の一例について詳細に説明する。
還元剤供給装置10は、尿素水溶液を貯蔵する貯蔵タンク11と、尿素水溶液を圧送するポンプ21を有するポンプユニット20と、選択還元触媒7よりも上流側の排気管5に固定された噴射弁25とを備える。ポンプ21及び噴射弁25は、マイクロコンピュータ等を備えて構成される制御装置100によって駆動制御される。
次に、還元剤供給装置10の加熱システムの構成例を説明する。
還元剤供給装置10には、内燃機関1の冷却水が循環する冷却水循環通路50が配設されている。内燃機関1は、エンジンブロック内に形成され、ラジエータ3を通過するようにして冷却水を循環させる冷却水回路4を備える。冷却水回路4は、冷却水を循環させるポンプ2を備える。冷却水循環通路50は、ポンプ2の下流側の冷却水回路4に設けられた分岐部55において冷却水回路4から分岐し、ポンプ2の上流側の冷却水回路4に設けられた合流部57で冷却水回路4に合流する。
ここまで、還元剤供給装置10及び加熱システムの構成例を説明した。以下、加熱システムの動作の一例を説明する。図2及び図3は、内燃機関1、還元剤供給装置10及び加熱システムの動作を示す説明図である。図2及び図3において、上からそれぞれ排気エミッション、尿素水溶液の噴射制御、解凍制御、開閉制御弁(図では「1st valve」と表記。)61、内燃機関1、イグニッションスイッチ、開閉弁(図では「2nd valve」と表記。)63及びブロックヒータ40の状態が示されている。
まず、冷却水循環通路50のバイパス通路50ba並びに開閉弁63、及びブロックヒータ40を備えない参考例の動作を説明する。
図3は、本実施形態に係る加熱システムを適用した場合の動作を示す説明図である。本実施形態の例では、内燃機関1のイグニッションスイッチがオフの状態であっても、ブロックヒータ40に外部電力を供給することによって内燃機関1の冷却水が加熱される。これにより、冷却水が昇温することによる対流によって、冷却水が内燃機関1の冷却水回路4を循環し始める。この状態で、冷却水循環通路50のバイパス通路50baに備えられた開閉弁63が手動で開弁状態にされることによって、冷却水がバイパス通路50baを経由して冷却水循環通路50を循環可能になる。この間、車両の制御システムは起動していなくてもよい。つまり、還元剤供給装置10及び制御装置100に電力が供給されていなくてもよい。
ここまで、本実施形態に係る加熱システムの基本的な構成例を説明したが、加熱システムは種々の変形が可能である。以下、本実施形態に係る加熱システムの応用例を説明する。
Claims (4)
- 車両の内燃機関(1)の排気通路(5)に尿素水溶液を供給する還元剤供給装置(10)を加熱する加熱システムにおいて、
前記内燃機関(1)の冷却水回路(4)が形成されたハウジングに備えられ、外部電源(90)の電力を供給可能なブロックヒータ(40)と、
前記冷却水回路(4)から分岐して前記還元剤供給装置(10)の少なくとも一部に配設されて再び前記冷却水回路(4)に合流する冷却水循環通路(50)と、
前記冷却水循環通路(50)の途中に備えられた開閉制御弁(61)と、
前記開閉制御弁(61)の上流側と下流側とを接続するバイパス通路(50ba)と、
前記バイパス通路(50ba)に備えられた開閉弁(63)と、
を備え、
前記開閉制御弁(61)は、車載電源からの供給電力で駆動される常閉型の弁であり、
前記開閉弁(63)は、前記車載電源からの供給電力以外の力により開閉される弁である、加熱システム。 - 前記開閉弁(63)は、手動式の開閉弁である、請求項1に記載の加熱システム。
- 前記冷却水回路(4)内の冷却水温度若しくは前記ハウジングの温度を検出する温度センサ、又は前記尿素水溶液を収容するタンク(11)の温度を検出する温度センサ(15)を備え、
前記ブロックヒータ(40)に前記電力を供給開始した後、前記冷却水温度又は前記ハウジングの温度が基準温度に到達したことを通知する通知装置(90)を備える、請求項1または2に記載の加熱システム。 - 前記開閉弁(63)は、前記ブロックヒータ(40)による加熱期間の少なくとも一部の期間に開弁される、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の加熱システム。
