Description
下記の表1及び図6~8に、本発明品に係る摺動式等速自在継手2の内部仕様を、ボール径が等しい従来品(最大作動角25°の8個ボールのダブルオフセット型等速自在継手)と比較して示す。尚、図6~8の上半分は、本発明品に係る摺動式等速自在継手2の断面図であり、下半分は、従来品に係る摺動式等速自在継手2’の断面図である。従来品の各部位には、本発明品の各部位の符号に「’(ダッシュ)」を付した符号を付している。
(2)内輪幅(内側継手部材の軸方向幅)WI(s):内側継手部材22の最大軸方向寸法であり、図示例では内側継手部材22の両端面間の軸方向距離である。
(3)内輪肉厚(内側継手部材の半径方向の肉厚)TI(s):継手中心平面P(s){継手中心O(s)を通り、軸線と直交する平面}におけるトラック溝22eの溝底とスプライン穴22cのピッチ円との半径方向距離である。尚、図示例では、内側継手部材の半径方向の肉厚が軸方向で一定となっている。
(4)スプラインPCD(内側継手部材のスプライン穴のピッチ円径)PCDSPL(s):内側継手部材22のスプライン穴22cと中間シャフト4のスプライン46との噛み合いピッチ円の直径である。
(5)外輪外径DO(s):外側継手部材21の最大外径である。
(6)保持器幅WC(s):保持器24の最大軸方向寸法であり、図示例では保持器24の両端面間の軸方向距離である。
下記の表2、図9及び図10に、本発明品に係る固定式等速自在継手3の内部仕様を、ボール径が等しい従来品(最大作動角47°の8個ボールのゼッパ型等速自在継手)と比較して示す。尚、図9及び図10の上半分は、本発明品に係る固定式等速自在継手3の断面図であり、下半分は、従来品に係る固定式等速自在継手3’の断面図である。従来品の各部位には、本発明品の各部位の符号に「’(ダッシュ)」を付した符号を付している。
(2)内輪トラック長さ(内側継手部材のトラック溝の軸方向長さ)WI・TRUCK(f):厳密には、内側継手部材32のトラック溝32eとボール33との接点軌跡の軸方向長さであるが、本明細書では、内側継手部材32の球面状の外周面32dの軸方向長さ、すなわち、内側継手部材32の軸方向両端面間の軸方向距離(外周面32dの軸方向両端から内径側に延びる端面間の軸方向距離)のことを言う。
(3)内輪幅(内側継手部材の軸方向幅)WI(f):内側継手部材32の最大軸方向寸法であり、図示例では、内側継手部材32の円筒部32aの両端面間の軸方向距離である。
(4)内輪肉厚(内側継手部材の半径方向の肉厚)TI(f):継手中心平面P(f)(継手中心O(f)を通り、軸線と直交する平面)におけるトラック溝32eの溝底とスプライン穴32cのピッチ円との半径方向距離である。
(5)スプラインPCD(内側継手部材のスプライン穴のピッチ円径)PCDSPL(f):内側継手部材32のスプライン穴32cと中間シャフト4のスプライン46との噛み合いピッチ円の直径である。
(6)外輪外径DO(f):外側継手部材31の最大外径である。
(7)継手中心~外輪開口端面長さW1O(f):継手中心O(f)と外側継手部材31のマウス部31aの開口側端面(インボード側の端面)との軸方向距離である。
(8)保持器肉厚TC(f):保持器34の継手中心平面P(f)における半径方向の肉厚である。
(9)保持器幅WC(f):保持器34の最大軸方向寸法であり、図示例では保持器34の両端面間の軸方向距離である。

Claims (2)
- 球面状の内周面に軸方向に延びる8本のトラック溝が形成された外側継手部材と、球面状の外周面に軸方向に延びる8本のトラック溝が形成され、軸心にスプライン穴が形成された内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と前記内側継手部材のトラック溝とで形成されるボールトラックに配された8個のボールと、前記ボールを収容する8個のポケットを有し、前記外側継手部材の内周面及び前記内側継手部材の外周面に摺接する保持器とを備え、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝の曲率中心と前記内側継手部材のトラック溝の曲率中心とがそれぞれ継手中心に対して軸方向反対側に等距離だけオフセットされた固定式等速自在継手と、
円筒状の内周面に軸方向に延びる8本のトラック溝が形成された外側継手部材と、球面状の外周面に軸方向に延びる8本のトラック溝が形成され、軸心にスプライン穴が形成された内側継手部材と、前記外側継手部材のトラック溝と前記内側継手部材のトラック溝とで形成されるボールトラックに配された8個のボールと、前記ボールを収容する8個のポケットを有し、前記外側継手部材の内周面及び前記内側継手部材の外周面に摺接する保持器とを備え、前記保持器の外周面に設けられた球面部の曲率中心と前記保持器の内周面に設けられた球面部の曲率中心とがそれぞれ継手中心に対して軸方向反対側に等距離だけオフセットされた摺動式等速自在継手と、
前記固定式等速自在継手の内側継手部材のスプライン穴に嵌合するアウトボード側のスプラインと、前記摺動式等速自在継手の内側継手部材のスプライン穴に嵌合するインボード側のスプラインとを備えた中間シャフトとを有する後輪専用ドライブシャフトにおいて、
前記固定式等速自在継手及び前記摺動式等速自在継手の最大作動角が20°以下であり、
前記固定式等速自在継手の前記ボールのピッチ円径PCDBALL(f)と前記ボールの直径DBALL(f)との比PCDBALL(f)/DBALL(f)が3.70~3.87であり、
前記摺動式等速自在継手の前記ボールのピッチ円径PCDBALL(s)と前記ボールの直径DBALL(s)との比PCDBALL(s)/DBALL(s)が3.3~3.6であり、
前記固定式等速自在継手の前記内側継手部材のスプライン穴のピッチ円径PCDSPL(f)と前記ボールの直径DBALL(f)との比PCDSPL(f)/DBALL(f)が1.82~1.92であり、
前記摺動式等速自在継手の前記内側継手部材のスプライン穴のピッチ円径PCDSPL(s)と前記ボールの直径DBALL(s)との比PCDSPL(s)/DBALL(s)が1.70~1.85であり、
