Claims (15)
- 駆動アセンブリを有する外科器具用切断アセンブリであって、
近位端とは反対側の遠位端から近位側に延びる長軸と、前記遠位端の近くに配置され、患者の外科部位に当てられるように適合された切断窓とを含むチューブアセンブリであって、前記切断窓が、近位境界とは反対側の遠位境界を有する、チューブアセンブリ
を備える切断アセンブリにおいて、
前記チューブアセンブリは、
前記チューブアセンブリの遠位端の近くに外側切断窓を有する外側チューブと、
前記外側チューブ内に同心に配置され、前記駆動アセンブリによって前記外側チューブに対して回転可能になっている内側チューブであって、内側チューブが、前記遠位端の近くに位置する内側切断窓と、前記近位端と前記内側切断窓との間で延びる管腔とを有し、前記内側切断窓及び前記外側切断窓が、前記チューブアセンブリの切断窓を画定する、内側チューブと、
前記内側チューブの管腔の突起であって、突起の少なくとも一部が、前記切断窓の前記近位境界の遠位側に位置しており、突起が、突起の近位側における前記管腔の断面積に対して縮小した断面積を前記内側チューブの管腔にもたらし、前記縮小した断面積が、前記切断窓を通して除去可能な材料の大きさを縮小し、前記チューブアセンブリの詰まりを低減させるように適合されている、突起と、
をさらに含んでいる、切断アセンブリ。 - 前記内側チューブの管腔内に固定されたインサートをさらに備え、前記インサートが、前記縮小した断面積をもたらす前記突起を画定するようになっている、請求項1に記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記インサートが、外面及び前記外面とは反対側の内面を有し、前記外面が、前記管腔の一部に追従するように形作られ、前記内面が、前記突起を画定するようになっている、請求項2に記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記内面と前記外面との間に画定された前記インサートの厚みが、前記切断窓の近位境界に向かう方向にテーパが付されるようになっている、請求項3に記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記切断窓の近位境界の遠位側における前記内側チューブの管腔が、前記長軸に向かって半径方向内方に形成され、これによって、前記縮小した断面積をもたらす前記突起を画定するようになっている、請求項1に記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記管腔の縮小した断面積に対する前記管腔の断面積の比率が、1:1.3から1:1.8の範囲内にある、請求項1~5のいずれか1つに記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 駆動アセンブリを有する外科器具用切断アセンブリであって、
近位端とは反対側の遠位端から近位側に延びる長軸と、前記遠位端の近くに配置され、患者の外科部位に当てられるように適合された切断窓とを含むチューブアセンブリであって、前記切断窓が、近位境界とは反対側の遠位境界を有する、チューブアセンブリ
を備える切断アセンブリにおいて、
前記チューブアセンブリは、
遠位領域内に外側切断窓を有する外側チューブと、
前記外側チューブ内に同心に配置され、前記駆動アセンブリによって前記外側チューブに対して回転可能になっている内側チューブであって、前記チューブアセンブリの近位境界の遠位側における前記内側チューブの一部が、前記内側チューブの遠位領域を画定し、前記内側チューブが、前記遠位領域内に内側切断窓を有し、前記内側切断窓及び前記外側切断窓が、前記チューブアセンブリの切断窓を画定する、内側チューブと、
前記内側チューブの管腔内の突起であって、突起の少なくとも一部が、前記内側チューブの遠位領域内に配置され、突起が、前記切断窓を通して除去可能な材料の大きさを縮小し、前記チューブアセンブリの詰まりを低減させるように適合されている、突起と、
をさらに含んでいる、切断アセンブリ。 - 前記遠位領域内に配置された前記突起の容積が、前記チューブアセンブリの遠位領域における容積の20%~60%の範囲内にある、請求項7に記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記突起の少なくとも一部以外の前記突起の他の部分が、前記切断窓の近位境界の近位側に位置している、請求項7又は8に記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記突起が、前記内側切断窓の半径方向の反対側にて前記長軸を中心として位置している、請求項7~9のいずれか1つに記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記切断窓の遠位境界における前記長軸から前記突起までの距離が、前記切断窓の近位境界における前記長軸から前記突起までの距離よりも短く、これによって、前記突起が、前記近位境界に向かう方向にてテーパが付されることになる、請求項7~10のいずれか1つに記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記突起が、実質的に平面状の内面をなす第1の遠位部分と前記第1の遠位部分の近位側の第2の近位部分とによってさらに画定され、前記近位側の断面部分が、円弧状の内面を有している、請求項7~11のいずれか1つに記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記外側チューブにおける前記切断窓の近位境界から前記突起の最近接点までの距離が、前記内側チューブの管腔の直径よりも短く、前記管腔を通る前記材料の大きさが、前記管腔の直径よりも小さな前記距離とほとんど等しく、これによって、前記チューブアセンブリの詰まりを低減させることになる、請求項7~12のいずれか1つに記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記突起が、前記内側チューブの前記遠位領域内における前記長軸に対して偏心した孔によって少なくとも部分的に画定され、前記偏心した孔が、前記切断窓及び前記管腔と連通している、請求項7~13のいずれか1つに記載の切断アセンブリ。
- 前記突起及び前記内側切断窓の間の相対位置は、前記内側チューブが前記外側チューブ内にて回転するときに一定に維持されるようになっている、請求項7~14のいずれか1つに記載の切断アセンブリ。
