Claims (5)
- 表示装置であって、
表示情報を有する直線偏波の可視光を出射する表示部と、
前記表示部からの前記可視光を透過させ、且つ前記表示部への赤外光の入射量を低減させる赤外光カット部と、
前記赤外光カット部を透過した前記可視光を反射させると共に、前記表示部からの前記可視光を反射させる面とは反対側の面から入射する可視光を透過させる透明性を有する反射部と、
を備え、
前記赤外光カット部は、第1のポリマフィルムと、当該第1のポリマフィルム上に配置された第2のポリマフィルムと、前記第1のポリマフィルム及び前記第2のポリマフィルムの少なくとも一方に積層され、赤外光の透過量を低減させる赤外光カット層と、を有し、
前記第1のポリマフィルム及び前記第2のポリマフィルムは、共に屈折率の異方性を有し、且つ前記屈折率の最も高い第1軸を有し、
平面視で、前記第1のポリマフィルムの前記第1軸と前記第2のポリマフィルムの前記第1軸とは、前記直線偏波の可視光が前記第1のポリマフィルムに入射する際に、当該第1のポリマフィルムが前記直線偏波の可視光を第1の楕円偏波として前記第2のポリマフィルムに入射させるように透過させ、且つ前記第2のポリマフィルムが前記第1の楕円偏波を当該第1の楕円偏波よりも楕円偏波の割合が小さい第2の楕円偏波として透過させるように、前記第1のポリマフィルムの複屈折が、前記第2のポリマフィルムによって補償されるように交差する、表示装置。 - 前記第1のポリマフィルム及び前記第2のポリマフィルムは、共に多層のポリマフィルムを含む、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1のポリマフィルムの前記第1軸と前記第2のポリマフィルムの前記第1軸との交差角度は、45〜90度である、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の表示装置。
- 一方の面からの直線偏波の可視光を透過させ、他方の面からの赤外光の入射量を低減させる赤外光カットフィルムであって、
屈折率の異方性を有する第1のポリマフィルムと、
屈折率の異方性を有し、且つ前記第1のポリマフィルム上に配置された第2のポリマフィルムと、
前記第1のポリマフィルム及び前記第2のポリマフィルムの少なくとも一方に積層され、赤外光の透過量を低減させる赤外光カット層と、
を備え、
前記第1のポリマフィルム及び前記第2のポリマフィルムは、共に前記屈折率の最も高い第1軸を有し、
平面視で、前記第1のポリマフィルムの前記第1軸と前記第2のポリマフィルムの前記第1軸とは、前記直線偏波の可視光が前記第1のポリマフィルムに入射する際に、当該第1のポリマフィルムが前記直線偏波の可視光を第1の楕円偏波として前記第2のポリマフィルムに入射させるように透過させ、且つ前記第2のポリマフィルムが前記第1の楕円偏波を当該第1の楕円偏波よりも楕円偏波の割合が小さい第2の楕円偏波として透過させるように、前記第1のポリマフィルムの複屈折が、前記第2のポリマフィルムによって補償されるように交差する、赤外光カットフィルム。 - 前記赤外光カット層は、金属、金属合金、又は酸化物半導体を含んでいる、請求項4に記載の赤外光カットフィルム。
