Claims (7)
- 複数のアンテナ素子と当該複数のアンテナ素子における送信信号又は受信信号に対して所定のアナログ処理を施すアナログ処理部とをそれぞれ備える複数のサブアレーと、
前記複数のサブアレーに接続されるプロセッサとを有し、
前記プロセッサは、
複数のユーザから送信された信号の到来方向を推定し、
推定された到来方向を示す角度の三角関数による写像を算出し、
算出された写像に基づいて、前記複数のユーザが属する複数のグループを生成し、
前記複数のサブアレーに含まれる一部のサブアレーの組み合わせであって、互いに干渉しない指向性ビームを生成するサブアレーの組み合わせをグループごとに割り当て、
グループごとに割り当てられたサブアレーを用いて、各グループに属するユーザの方向へ指向性ビームを生成するための重み係数を決定する
処理を実行することを特徴とする無線通信装置。 - 前記割り当てる処理は、
前記複数のサブアレーによって生成可能な複数の指向性ビームに対して端から順に付与されたビーム番号と、前記複数のサブアレーに対して端から順に付与されたサブアレー番号とに基づいて、各グループに割り当てるサブアレーの組み合わせを決定することを特徴とする請求項1記載の無線通信装置。 - 前記割り当てる処理は、
ユーザが存在する複数の方向へ互いに干渉しない指向性ビームを生成するサブアレーの組み合わせがない場合、未割り当てのサブアレーを1つずつ前記ユーザに割り当てることを特徴とする請求項1記載の無線通信装置。 - 前記決定する処理は、
サブアレーごとの複数のアンテナ素子それぞれに重み付けする第1の重み係数を算出し、
グループごとのユーザそれぞれへ送信される送信信号又はグループごとのユーザそれぞれから受信される受信信号に重み付けする第2の重み係数を算出する
ことを特徴とする請求項1記載の無線通信装置。 - 前記生成する処理は、
前記算出する処理に用いられる三角関数の写像空間において、前記複数のサブアレーすべてによって指向性ビームを形成可能な範囲を前記複数のサブアレーの数で等分した間隔の整数倍だけ互いに離れたユーザを同一のグループとすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の無線通信装置。 - 複数のアンテナ素子と当該複数のアンテナ素子における送信信号又は受信信号に対して所定のアナログ処理を施すアナログ処理部とをそれぞれ備える複数のサブアレーを有する無線通信装置が実行するビーム制御方法であって、
複数のユーザから送信された信号の到来方向を推定し、
推定された到来方向を示す角度の三角関数による写像を算出し、
算出された写像に基づいて、前記複数のユーザが属する複数のグループを生成し、
前記複数のサブアレーに含まれる一部のサブアレーの組み合わせであって、互いに干渉しない指向性ビームを生成するサブアレーの組み合わせをグループごとに割り当て、
グループごとに割り当てられたサブアレーを用いて、各グループに属するユーザの方向へ指向性ビームを生成するための重み係数を決定する
ことを特徴とするビーム制御方法。
