Claims (6)
- 先端側から後端側へ向かって延びる筒状の主体金具と、
前記主体金具の内側に絶縁保持された中心電極と、
前記主体金具に電気的に接続され、前記中心電極と自身の端部との間に火花ギャップを形成する接地電極と、
前記主体金具の先端側において、前記中心電極と前記接地電極の端部とを先端側から覆うと共に貫通孔が形成されたキャップ部と、を備える点火プラグであって、
前記キャップ部は、前記貫通孔の内面に複数の凸部が設けられ、
前記凸部は、前記貫通孔が延びる延伸方向に延びている点火プラグ。 - 前記延伸方向に垂直な断面において、前記凸部の幅は、前記凸部の頂に近づくにつれて狭くなる請求項1記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記凸部の頂は、平面である請求項1又は2に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記凸部の頂は、曲面の一部である請求項1又は2に記載の点火プラグ。
- 前記凸部は、前記頂を形成する頂面と、前記頂面に接続する側面と、を備え、
前記頂面と前記側面とが接続する角に丸みが付されている請求項3記載の点火プラグ。 - 前記延伸方向に垂直な断面において、前記凸部のうち隣り合う2つの凸部の間隔は、前記2つの凸部の各々の幅よりも狭い請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の点火プラグ。
