〔態様1〕
ポリマーフローインデックスを調整するための方法であって、
モノマーを重合反応器に提供することと、
クロム触媒を前記重合反応器に提供することと、
活性量のフローインデックス調整剤を前記重合反応器に提供することとを含み、前記フローインデックス調整剤は、二酸化炭素、一酸化炭素、2,4−ヘキサジエン、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される方法。
〔態様2〕
前記フローインデックス調整剤が、二酸化炭素であり、前記モノマーを基準として0.50パーツパーミリオン〜50.00パーツパーミリオンである、態様1に記載の方法。
〔態様3〕
活性量の前記フローインデックス調整剤を前記重合反応器に提供することが、異なるポリマーフローインデックスを有する第2のポリマーと比較して低減されたポリマーフローインデックスを有するポリマーを形成し、前記第2のポリマーは、同じ重合プロセスにより形成されるが、活性量の前記フローインデックス調整剤を利用せずに形成される、態様2に記載の方法。
〔態様4〕
前記ポリマーフローインデックスが、前記第2のポリマーと比較して約5%〜約50%低減される、態様3に記載の方法。

活性量の前記フローインデックス調整剤を前記重合反応器に提供することが、異なるポリマーフローインデックスを有する第2のポリマーと比較して増加されたポリマーフローインデックスを有するポリマーを形成し、前記第2のポリマーは、同じ重合プロセスにより形成されるが、活性量の前記フローインデックス調整剤を利用せずに形成される、態様8に記載の方法。

前記ポリマーフローインデックスが、前記第2のポリマーと比較して約50%〜約250%増加される、態様9に記載の方法。
〔態様11〕
前記ポリマーフローインデックスが、前記2,4−ヘキサジエンの第1の活性量及び第2の活性量に対する最大値を有する、態様8に記載の方法。
〔態様12〕
前記モノマーが、エチレンを含む、態様1に記載の方法。
〔態様13〕
ポリエチレンを形成することを含む、態様1に記載の方法。
〔態様14〕
前記クロム触媒が、還元された酸化クロム触媒である、態様1に記載の方法。
Claims (4)
- ポリマーフローインデックスを調整するための方法であって、
エチレンを含むモノマーを重合反応器に提供することと、
酸化クロム触媒を前記重合反応器に提供することと、
活性量のフローインデックス調整剤を前記重合反応器に提供することと
を含み、
前記フローインデックス調整剤は、二酸化炭素であり、前記モノマーを基準として15.00パーツパーミリオン〜50.00パーツパーミリオンであり、
前記活性量の前記フローインデックス調整剤を前記重合反応器に提供することは、異なる密度を有する第2のポリマーと比較して低減された密度を有するポリマーを形成し、前記第2のポリマーは、同じ重合プロセスにより形成されるが、前記活性量の前記フローインデックス調整剤を利用せずに形成されるものである、前記方法。 - 前記活性量の前記フローインデックス調整剤を前記重合反応器に提供することが、異なるポリマーフローインデックスを有する第2のポリマーと比較して低減されたポリマーフローインデックスを有するポリマーを形成し、前記第2のポリマーは、同じ重合プロセスにより形成されるが、前記活性量の前記フローインデックス調整剤を利用せずに形成されるものである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーフローインデックスが、前記第2のポリマーと比較して5%〜50%低減される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記フローインデックス調整剤は、前記モノマーを基準として25.00パーツパーミリオン〜50.00パーツパーミリオンである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
