Description
図1に示す車載システム10はバス12を備えており、バス12には複数のセンサユニット及び互いに異なる制御を行う複数の電子制御ユニットが各々接続されている。なお、図1は車載システム10の一部のみ示している。個々の電子制御ユニットは、CPU、メモリ及び不揮発性の記憶部を含む制御ユニットであり、以下、ECU(Electronic Control Unit)と称する。バス12に接続されている複数のセンサユニットには、フロアセンサ14、サテライトセンサ16及びレーダ装置18が含まれており、バス12に接続されている複数のECUにはエアバッグECU20及びシートベルト制御ECU24が含まれている。
次に本発明の第2実施形態について説明する。なお、第2実施形態は第1実施形態と同一の構成であるので、各部分に同一の符号を付して構成の説明を省略し、第2実施形態の作用について、第1実施形態と異なる部分を説明する。図9に示すように、第2実施形態に係るシートベルト制御処理は、ステップ110がステップ109,111に置き換わり、ステップ114がステップ115に、ステップ116がステップ117にそれぞれ置き換わっている点で第1実施形態と相違している。

Claims (4)
- シートベルトを巻き取ってシートベルトの張力を高めるプリテンショナ部と、
前記プリテンショナ部によって巻き取られたシートベルトの張力軽減を開始する荷重の大きさを変更可能なフォースリミッタ部と、
衝突の大きさに関連する物理量を検出する第1検出部によって検出された前記物理量が第1の閾値を超えるか又は衝突予測部によって衝突が予測された場合に前記プリテンショナ部を作動させ、前記プリテンショナ部の作動後の所定期間内に、前記第1検出部によって検出された前記物理量が、第2検出部によって検出された衝突速度に応じて設定した第2の閾値を超えた場合の前記フォースリミッタ部の前記荷重を、前記所定期間内に前記物理量が前記第2の閾値を超えない場合よりも大きい荷重に制御する制御部と、
を含むシートベルト制御装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記衝突速度が所定値を超えた場合の前記第2の閾値を、前記衝突速度が前記所定値を超えない場合の前記第2の閾値以下の値に設定する請求項1記載のシートベルト制御装置。
- 前記第2検出部はレーダ及びカメラの少なくとも一方である請求項1又は請求項2記載のシートベルト制御装置。
- 前記第1検出部は、前記物理量として減速度を検出し、
前記制御部は、前記第2の閾値として、前記第1検出部によって検出された減速度の積分値に対する閾値を前記衝突速度に応じて設定し、前記プリテンショナ部の作動後の所定期間内に前記減速度の積分値が前記設定した第2の閾値を超えたか否か判定する請求項1〜請求項3の何れか1項記載のシートベルト制御装置。
