Claims (4)
- 複数のバイポーラ電極が積層された電極積層体と、前記電極積層体の側面を封止する封止体と、を備え、
前記電極積層体は、アルカリ水溶液からなる電解液を含み、
前記バイポーラ電極は、電極板と、前記電極板の一方の面に設けられた正極と、前記電極板の他方の面に設けられた負極と、を含み、
前記封止体は、
前記バイポーラ電極にそれぞれ設けられ、前記バイポーラ電極の各電極板の周縁部に沿って設けられた環状樹脂部と、
前記各電極板の前記周縁部と前記環状樹脂部との間に設けられ、前記周縁部と前記環状樹脂部とに接着されたゴム層と、
前記電極積層体の側面を包囲し、かつ、各前記環状樹脂部と溶着された筒状部と、を含み、
前記電極板の前記周縁部は複数の突起を有し、該突起は、基端側から先端側に向かって先太りとなる形状を有し、
前記環状樹脂部及び前記筒状部は互いに相溶性を有する熱可塑性樹脂からなり、
前記ゴム層は、ブチルゴム、クロロプレンゴム、ニトリルゴム、及びスチレン・ブタジエンゴムからなる群より選ばれるゴムの層である、蓄電モジュール。 - 前記環状樹脂部は、前記電極積層体の積層方向から見て、前記各電極板の前記周縁部よりも外に張り出して、前記筒状部に埋没した部分を有し、該埋没した部分において前記筒状部と互いに溶着している、請求項1に記載の蓄電モジュール。
- 前記電極積層体は、積層方向の最外に、電極板と、前記電極板の一方の面に設けられた負極とを含み、前記一方の面が前記電極積層体の内側になるように配置された、負極終端電極をさらに備え、
前記封止体は、
前記負極終端電極の前記電極板の周縁部に沿って設けられた負極終端環状樹脂部と、
前記負極終端電極の前記電極板の前記周縁部と前記負極終端環状樹脂部との間に設けられた負極終端ゴム層と、をさらに含み、
前記負極終端環状樹脂部は前記筒状部と溶着されており、
前記負極終端ゴム層は、前記負極終端電極の前記電極板の前記周縁部と前記負極終端環状樹脂部とに接着されており、
前記負極終端電極の前記電極板の前記周縁部は複数の突起を有し、該突起は、基端側から先端側に向かって先太りとなる形状を有し、
前記負極終端環状樹脂部は、前記筒状部と互いに相溶性を有する熱可塑性樹脂からなり、
前記負極終端ゴム層は、ブチルゴム、クロロプレンゴム、ニトリルゴム、及びスチレン・ブタジエンゴムからなる群より選ばれるゴムの層である、請求項1又は2に記載の蓄電モジュール。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電モジュールの製造方法であって、
前記バイポーラ電極の前記電極板の前記周縁部に液状のゴム前駆体を塗布する工程と、
前記ゴム前駆体をゴム化させて、前記ゴム層を形成する工程と、
前記ゴム層を圧縮しながら前記環状樹脂部における前記ゴム層との接触面を溶融させて前記ゴム層に前記環状樹脂部を接着する工程と、
前記ゴム層を圧縮した状態で、前記環状樹脂部の前記接触面を冷却する工程と、を備える、製造方法。
