4NH3+5NO+3O2 → 4N2O+6H2O (3)
様々な実施態様では、本組成物は1種、2種又は3種のSCR触媒を含むことができる。本組成物中に常に存在している、第1のSCR触媒は、(1)低アンモニア貯蔵性を有する担体に担持されているPtを含むブレンド中、又は(2)触媒が二層中に存在しており、かつPtが下部層中に存在している場合、上部層中のどちらか一方に存在することができる。第1のSCR触媒は、好ましくはCu−SCR触媒又はFe−SCR触媒であり、より好ましくはCu−SCR触媒である。Cu−SCR触媒は、銅及びモレキュラーシーブを含む。Fe−SCR触媒は、鉄及びモレキュラーシーブを含む。モレキュラーシーブは、以下にさらに記載されている。銅又は鉄は、モレキュラーシーブのフレームワーク内部、及び/又はモレキュラーシーブ内のフレームワーク外の(交換可能な)部位中に位置することができる。

ZSM−5(SAR=2100を有するMFIフレームワーク)に担持されているPt(4重量%)とCu−CHAとのブレンドを含むウオッシュコートを使用して、セラミック基材に下部層を塗布した。セラミック基材にウオッシュコート塗布し、次に、真空を使用して、基材にウオッシュコートを定着させた。この物品を乾燥し、約500℃で約1時間、焼成した。この物品上のPt、ゼオライト及びCu−CHAの担持量は、それぞれ、3g/ft3、0.18g/in3及び1.8g/in3であった。

1) 上流の100%のCu−SCR(SV=75,000h−1)+下流の実施例1(SV=120,000h−1)
2) 上流の50%のCu−SCR(SV=150,000h−1)+下流の実施例1(SV=120,000h−1)
3) 上流の100%のCu−SCR(SV=75,000h−1)+下流の実施例5(SV=120,000h−1)
4) 上流の50%のCu−SCR(SV=150,000h−1)+下流の実施例5(SV=120,000h−1)
システムはどちらも、300ppm NO+300ppm NH3を完全に除去するのに十分な体積を有する、同一のフルサイズのSCRを前面に有した。後側のASC触媒は、200ppmの未反応NH3の酸化を担っているだけであった。予想通り、NO及びNH3変換率に、これら2つのシステム間に差異はほとんどなかった。しかし、N2O形成は、実施例3ではかなり低い一方、実施例5は、N2O形成が一層少ないため、ASC触媒として下流に存在する。
システムはどちらも、300ppmのNOを完全に除去するのに不十分な体積を有する、同一のハーフサイズのSCRを前面に有しており、NO及びNH3スリップをもたらした。実施例1が下流の場合、NO変換率は、かなり低下し、N2O形成は、前面のSCR体積が低下するにつれてかなり向上し、Pt上のNH3酸化及び非選択的NH3+NO反応が発生していることを示している。対照的に、実施例5が下流の場合、NO変換率に著しい低下はなく、かつN2O形成の向上はほとんどなく、Pt上の非選択的なNH3+NO反応が最小化されていることを示唆している。
Claims (11)
- 入口及び出口を有しており、かつ低アンモニア貯蔵性を有する担体上の白金と第1のSCR触媒とのブレンドを含む第1のコーティングによりコーティングされている基材;第2のSCR触媒を含む第2のコーティングを含む触媒物品であって、第2のコーティングが、第1のコーティングと少なくとも一部が重なり合っており、第1のSCR触媒が、Cu−SCR触媒又はFe−SCR触媒であり、低アンモニア貯蔵性を有する担体が、≧100のうちの少なくとも1つのシリカ対アルミナ比を有するゼオライトを含むシリカ質担体である、触媒物品。
- 第2のコーティングが、第1のコーティングと完全に重なり合っている、請求項1に記載の触媒物品。
- 低アンモニア貯蔵性を有する担体上の白金を含むブレンドが、パラジウム(Pd)、金(Au)、銀(Ag)、ルテニウム(Ru)又はロジウム(Rh)のうちの少なくとも1種をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の触媒。
- 第1のSCR触媒が、ACO、AEI、AEN、AFN、AFT、AFX、ANA、APC、APD、ATT、CDO、CHA、DDR、DFT、EAB、EDI、EPI、ERI、GIS、GOO、IHW、ITE、ITW、LEV、KFI、MER、MON、NSI、OWE、PAU、PHI、RHO、RTH、SAT、SAV、SIV、THO、TSC、UEI、UFI、VNI、YUG、ZON、BEA、MFI及びFER、並びにそれらの混合物及び/又は連晶からなるフレームワークタイプの群から選択されるモレキュラーシーブに担持されているCu又はFeを含む、請求項1に記載の触媒物品。
- 第2のSCR触媒がモレキュラーシーブに担持されている卑金属であり、卑金属が、バナジウム(V)、モリブデン(Mo)及びタングステン(W)、クロム(Cr)、セリウム(Ce)、マンガン(Mn)、鉄(Fe)、コバルト(Co)、ニッケル(Ni)及び銅(Cu)、並びにそれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の触媒物品。
- 基材が、コーディエライト、高多孔度コーディエライト、金属基材、押出成形ハニカム、又はフィルターである、請求項1に記載の触媒物品。
- 第2のSCR触媒が、低アンモニア貯蔵性を有する担体上の白金と第1のSCR触媒とのブレンドを含む触媒の入口側に位置している、請求項1に記載の触媒物品。
- 第2のSCR触媒が、低アンモニア貯蔵性を有する担体上の白金と第1のSCR触媒とのブレンドを含む触媒の出口側に位置している、請求項1に記載の触媒物品。
- 第2のコーティングが、入口から出口の軸に沿って第1のコーティングの長さの少なくとも20%と重なり合っている、請求項1及び3から8のいずれか一項に記載の触媒物品。
- 200℃から350℃の温度での排気ガス中のアンモニア及びNOXからのN2収率を改善する方法であって、アンモニアを含む排気ガスを請求項1に記載の触媒物品に接触させることを含む、方法。
- アンモニアを含む排気ガスを請求項1に記載の触媒物品に接触させることを含む、アンモニア及びNOxを含む排気ガスを処理する方法。
