Description
(実施例1〜5および比較例1〜2)
窒化珪素粉末として平均粒径が1μmのα型窒化珪素粉末を用意した。次に、焼結助剤粉末として表1に示す化合物を用意した。
実施例3の接合ツール部材に対し、表5に示した表面粗さとなるように表面研磨加工を実施した。表面粗さの測定方法は実施例3と同じである。

Claims (9)
- 窒化珪素焼結体から成る摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材であって、窒化珪素焼結体は窒化珪素以外の添加成分を3質量%以上15質量%以下含有すると共に、添加成分はY、Al、Mg、Si、Ti、Hf、Mo、Cから選ばれる元素を3種以上具備し、
前記窒化珪素焼結体は、土台部と、前記土台部の表面にショルダー部を有するように前記土台部の表面に設けられる突起部とを備え、
前記窒化珪素焼結体の破壊靭性値が6.5MPa・m 1/2 以上であり、
前記ショルダー部の表面粗さRaが0.06μm以上10μm以下、最大断面高さRtが2.9μm以上60μm以下であり、
前記ショルダー部の前記表面粗さRaと前記最大断面高さRtは、内側から外側に向けて表面粗さ計の測定針を動作させて測定した値である、
窒化珪素焼結体製摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材。 - 前記添加成分の含有量が3質量%以上12.5質量%以下である、請求項1記載の窒化珪素焼結体製摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材。
- 前記添加成分はY、Al、Mg、Si、Ti、Hf、Mo、Cから選ばれる元素を4種以上具備する、請求項1ないし請求項2のいずれか1項に記載の窒化珪素焼結体製摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材。
- 前記ショルダー部の表面粗さRaが0.06μm以上10μm以下である、請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の窒化珪素焼結体製摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材。
- 前記ショルダー部の最大断面高さRtが2.9μm以上35μm以下である、請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の窒化珪素焼結体製摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材。
- 請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の窒化珪素焼結体製摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材を使用した、摩擦攪拌接合装置。
- 請求項6に記載の前記摩擦攪拌接合装置を用いた、摩擦攪拌接合方法。
- 前記窒化珪素焼結体製摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材の回転速度が800rpm以上である、請求項7に記載の摩擦攪拌接合方法。
- 前記窒化珪素焼結体製摩擦攪拌接合用接合ツール部材の押し込み荷重が5kN以上である、請求項7ないし請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の摩擦攪拌接合方法。
