Description

The present invention relates to a method for drawing a moire pattern on a drawing object such as paper using a stamp, and a stamp used for a method for drawing such a moire pattern.

Moire is also called "interference fringe", and is a fringe pattern that visually occurs when element figures such as fine dots and lines that are regularly distributed are superposed with the phases shifted. In the field of printing, halftone dots are arranged for gradation expression of photographs and the like, and in the field of image processing by a computer, the image is arranged with points called pixels. In moire, halftone dots and pixel Since a stripe pattern or the like that does not exist originally is generated due to the deviation of the pitch or the inclination, it is generally regarded as a phenomenon that should be avoided as so-called noise.

However, a simple monotonous pattern consisting of halftone dots and halftone lines may be unexpectedly complex and aesthetically pleasing to the viewer due to a slight shift in phase, such as horizontal shifting or rotation. It has been known. In the field of textiles, weaving the fibers of the woven fabric while shifting the phase of the woven fabric may intentionally generate a beautiful moire pattern. In the field of illustration and manga, a moire pattern may be used as an effect by overlapping screen tones of regular patterns. However, the screen tone is expensive and requires familiarity with handling, and can be applied only to paper or the like having an effective adhesive on the back surface, and the thickness may increase due to stacking and peeling may occur. Therefore, the screen tone is intended for a professional use such as an illustrator, and is not suitable for the purpose of casually enjoying drawing a moire pattern on various objects.

On the other hand, in the field of handcraft, a technique called "stamp art" has been attracting attention in recent years. Stamp art is a hobby that uses rubber stamps that can print letters and figures and inks of various colors to freely draw not only on paper but also personal belongings. A primer such as Non-Patent Document 1 has been published (see FIG. 1), and rubber stamps for stamp art as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 are manufactured and sold. There are also lectures for learning techniques and events by enthusiasts.
"First Stamp Art" published by Magazine Land

Conventional stamp art is mainly a stamp that has a face of a concrete figure such as a significant figure or a character, and is drawn by imprinting it on paper with various colors of ink. Techniques such as hand-drawn drawing and combination with other drawing means are used.
In addition to drawing paper, drawing objects include cards, bookmarks and other miscellaneous goods.

By the way, even in the conventional stamp art, a stamp having a stamp surface of a geometric pattern composed of a set of parallel lines and dots may be used, but the purpose is to draw the pattern itself or to draw a background pattern, It has not been done intentionally to draw a moire pattern by overlapping geometric patterns.

The present invention provides a method of intentionally drawing a moire pattern on a drawing object by using a stamp having a stamp surface of a geometric pattern having a predetermined condition in the stamp art, and a stamp suitable for the method. The challenge is to provide.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the drawing method of the moire pattern according to claim 1 of the present invention is a geometric method in which convex surfaces of a large number of identical element figures (excluding dots) are arranged in two-dimensional point symmetry. A step of stamping a stamp having a target printing surface onto a drawing object by hand to obtain a first print; and changing the phase of the stamp with respect to the first print multiple times by hand It is characterized by comprising a second step of stacking and imprinting.

Moire is a beating phenomenon of two spatial frequencies, and the moire pattern that occurs on a two-dimensional drawing surface is a pattern of lines, points, and other figures (hereinafter referred to as "element figures") that are continuously arranged at a specific cycle. When they are overlapped with each other by shifting them, they are visually recognized as a new striped pattern generated in a cycle corresponding to the difference between the distance and the phase shift of the adjacent element figures. Therefore, regardless of whether the element graphic itself is a straight line, a curve, a point, or any graphic, a moire pattern occurs if they are continuously arranged at a specific cycle. The phase shift is horizontal movement, rotation, or a combination thereof.

A stamp is the easiest way to draw element graphics that are continuously arranged in a specific cycle. After imprinting a stamp with element graphics arranged on the drawing surface once, move the stamps slightly horizontally or rotate them and imprint them one on top of another, so that two identical element graphic groups out of phase overlap and a moire pattern appears. Is drawn.

In stamp art, the purpose is not to bring out the desired moire pattern based on calculations, but due to a slight phase shift caused by manual pressing, the user (creator) may accidentally appear a variety of moire patterns. The purpose is to enjoy. Therefore, regardless of the shape of each element graphic, it is preferable from an artistic point of view that the array be two-dimensional point symmetry, that is, 180 degrees symmetry. This is because, if the array is two-dimensional point symmetric, the obtained moire pattern will always be symmetric even if the phase of the two element figure groups is shifted in any direction, and it is highly aesthetic in terms of human visual characteristics. Because it will be.

Specifically, when the element figure is a dot, the array is a square grid or a so-called halftone dot with the points and all the adjacent points equidistant. When the circles are parallel lines and are circles (including ellipses), they are concentric circles, but the arrangement is not limited to these as long as the overall arrangement is two-dimensional point symmetry.

The stamp imprinting is not limited to twice but can be repeated three or more times to create a complicated and high-density moire pattern. In addition, a more complicated moire pattern can be drawn by pressing the stamps having the same size of element graphics or different arrangement intervals/cycles. Furthermore, the expressiveness can be enhanced by changing the color or density of the ink used for the stamp and pressing the ink repeatedly.

The stamp described in claim 2 has a stamped surface formed by arranging a plurality of convex surfaces of the same elemental figure (excluding dots) in a two-dimensional point symmetry, which is used in the moire pattern drawing method described in claim 1. I am trying. The structure of the stamp itself is sufficient if a stamp face made of a material having a certain elasticity such as rubber in which convex surfaces forming elemental figures are integrally arranged and molded is attached to a main body having a grip portion made of wood or plastic, The size and shape of the main body and the stamp face are arbitrary.

If the element figure is an independent figure such as a dot (dot) or a figure that does not lose the two-dimensional point symmetry even if it is continuously expanded with the same arrangement, such as parallel lines, the seal face is It can also be formed into a roller by sticking to the outer surface of the cylinder without breaks. In this case, if a roller-shaped stamping surface is rotatably attached to the handle, it is possible to continuously print on a drawing object like a paint roller. If such a roller stamp is used, the prints are arranged side by side in parallel without a gap to obtain a first print wider than the width of the printing surface, and the second prints having the same width are overlapped by further shifting the phase to obtain a larger moire. The width of the drawing method can be further expanded by efficiently drawing a pattern or by producing a moire pattern only in the intersecting and overlapping portions of the strip-shaped first print and the second print.

According to the present invention, the user can draw a complicated and beautiful moire pattern simply by pressing a stamp without requiring any special technique. The moire pattern changes a lot due to a slight phase shift between stamps, and the unexpectedness stimulates the user's creativity. INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be expected to have an effect of significantly enhancing the expressive power of stamp art regardless of the age or skill of the user.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 4 is a perspective view of the stamp 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a front view of the stamp face 4 viewed from the front and a side view of the stamp 1.

The stamp 1 includes a stamp board 2 and a grip portion 3, and a stamp surface 4 is attached to the surface of the stamp board 2 via a cushion 5, and has the same configuration as a general office stamp. The stamp base 2 and the grip portion 3 are made of synthetic resin such as wood or plastic, and can be integrally molded. The stamp surface 4 is preferably made of rubber, and the cushion 5 is preferably a sponge sheet. On the surface of the stamp surface 4, a large number of convex surfaces 6 composed of dots as elemental figures are integrally molded in a two-dimensional point-symmetrical square lattice shape.

FIG. 6 shows a halftone dot image that appears when the stamp 1 is imprinted on the drawing target surface. The halftone dot print can be enlarged by pressing a plurality of prints side by side without gaps without overlapping.

FIG. 7 shows an image obtained by performing the second imprinting after the stamp 1 has been imprinted once and then the phase of the stamp 1 has been shifted by rotating the stamp 1 about its central axis. Various different moire patterns are drawn by changing the rotation angle.

In FIG. 8, the left and the center prints are those obtained by imprinting the stamp 1 again by changing the rotation angle and re-imprinting it once again, and the imprinting on the right is imprinting four times. As compared with the case of FIG. 7, a more complicated and three-dimensional moire pattern is drawn.

FIG. 9 shows the stamp 1 in which the second printing is performed not by rotation but by shifting the phase in an oblique direction. A moire pattern in a grid pattern in the vertical and horizontal directions is drawn as compared with the case of the one-time stamp.

FIG. 10 is a print image obtained by performing the second imprinting after the first imprinting with the stamp 1 and by superposing different stamps in which the dots of the same shape and the same size are arranged at different pitches. In the left figure rotated around the central axis, a substantially houndstooth checkered moire pattern is drawn, and in the right figure simply pushed repeatedly without shifting the phase, linear moire patterns are drawn in each of vertical, horizontal and diagonal directions.

FIG. 11 shows a printing image obtained by stamping the stamp 1 for the first time and then stacking different stamps having the same shape and larger dots and rotating the stamps about the central axis to perform the second stamping. Since the overlapping dots are deformed, a partially three-dimensional moire pattern is drawn.

FIG. 12 exemplifies a print obtained by rotating the element graphic of the stamp 1 as a dot, a short diagonal line, an X mark, and a O mark on the central axis and impressing the element twice. Even if the element images are different, a symmetric new moire pattern in a lattice arrangement is newly drawn in each unit, and a pattern with a sense of rhythm is formed.

FIG. 13 exemplifies a print image obtained by imprinting the element figures of the stamp 1 as horizontal lines at equal intervals, rotating the central axis, and impressing twice. A three-dimensional moire pattern with vertical lines that resemble a tatami mat is drawn.

FIG. 14 exemplifies a print obtained by making the element figures of the stamp 1 concentric circles with fine intervals and shifting the phase of the second imprint diagonally upward. A moire pattern with a radial pattern is drawn in the overlapping portion.

Although the embodiments of the moire pattern drawing method and the stamp used in the method according to the present invention have been described above with reference to the drawings, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and an object of improvement or a book Modifications and changes are possible within the scope of the technical idea of the invention, and they belong to the technical scope of the present invention.

For example, not only when the element graphic is represented by the convex portion but also when the concave surface is formed as an inverted graphic, the moire pattern having different textures can be drawn by shifting the phase and imprinting the stamp twice or more. Of course, even if the stamps having the same printing surface are used, the moire pattern generated due to the phase shift is infinite. In addition, if the stamp base and stamp surface of the stamp are made of a flexible and elastic material, and the stamp surface can be in close contact with a three-dimensional curved surface, it can be used not only on a flat surface such as paper, but also on the three-dimensional surface of personal belongings. Can also draw a moire pattern, and can be applied to make-up, nail art, etc. by drawing a moire pattern on the curved surface of human skin or nails, for example. The stamp according to the present invention is not limited to the drawing of the moire pattern, and can be simply arranged on the drawing object and continuously imprinted to fill up the decoration, thereby providing decoration with a slight inclination caused by hand pushing. It is also possible to make a part of it a moire pattern. Therefore, it can be used for a wide range of purposes, such as the production of original wrapping paper, the design of patterns for T-shirts, and the decoration of walls.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be used as a new design drawing method and design tool in textile design, product design, interior design, etc., as well as in the fields of art and hobby represented by stamp art, and its application range is wide. It can also be used for educational materials for children and activities at welfare facilities for the elderly.
