Claims (2)
- 電動モータ部と、車輪用軸受部と、入力軸、中間軸、および出力軸を有する平行軸歯車機構で構成され、入力軸に入力された電動モータ部の出力トルクを、中間軸および出力軸を介して車輪用軸受部に伝達する減速機部とを備え、中間軸に大歯車および小歯車を設けると共に、出力軸に中間軸の前記小歯車と噛み合う最終出力歯車を設け、出力軸のインボード側とアウトボード側をそれぞれ軸受で支持したインホイールモータ駆動装置において、
前記入力軸、中間軸、および出力軸の各中心O1,O2,O3をそれぞれ異なる位置に設け、
前記出力軸のインボート側を支持する軸受と出力軸の最終出力歯車との間に中間軸の大歯車が配置され、
前記出力軸のインボード側を支持する前記軸受のインボード側が、前記中間軸および出力軸の各インボード側を支持する一体のケーシングによって覆われており、
軸方向から見て、前記中間軸の大歯車の歯先円と前記出力軸のインボード側を支持する前記軸受の外径円とが交点を有することを特徴とするインホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 中間軸のインボード側とアウトボード側をそれぞれ軸受で支持し、前記中間軸のアウトボード側を支持する軸受と中間軸の大歯車との間に出力軸の最終出力歯車が配置され、軸方向から見て、出力軸の最終出力歯車の歯先円と中間軸のアウトボード側を支持する前記軸受の外径円とが交点を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。
