Description
本出願は、2015年5月15日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/161,930号に対する優先権及びその利益を主張し、その全内容が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。

外科器具と共に使用するための弁アセンブリであって、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に配設されたシールアセンブリと、を備え、前記シールアセンブリは、
挿入された外科器具に密封係合するように構成された穴を含むセプタムシールと、
間にスリットを画定している複数の第1のガード部分を含む第1のガード部材であって、前記第1のガード部材の休止位置において、前記スリットが略三角形であるように、各スリットは、中央開口から半径方向外側に延びるにつれて幅が徐々に増加する、第1のガード部材と、
前記第1のガード部材に対してオフセットの位置に配置された第2のガード部材であって、前記第2のガード部材は間にスリットを画定している複数の第2のガード部分を含み、前記第2のガード部材の休止位置において、前記スリットが略三角形であるように、各スリットは、中央開口から半径方向外側に延びるにつれて幅が徐々に増加する、第2のガード部材と、を含む、弁アセンブリ。
(項目2)
上側シール支持体と下側シール支持体とをさらに備え、前記セプタムシールならびに前記第1及び第2のガード部材は、前記上側及び下側シール支持体の間に保持される、項目1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
(項目3)
前記第1のガード部材の前記スリットは、前記第2のガード部材の前記ガード部分と整列し、前記第2のガード部材の前記スリットは、前記第1のガード部材の前記曲がったガード部分と整列する、項目1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
(項目4)
前記第1及び第2のガード部材は、それぞれの平坦なガード部分も含み、前記スリットのうちの1つ以上は、前記中央開口から前記平坦なガード部分に延びている、項目1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
(項目5)
各スリットは、前記曲がったガード部分を越えて半径方向に延びる、項目4に記載の弁アセンブリ。
(項目6)
前記セプタムシールは、蛇腹を含む、項目1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
(項目7)
前記第1及び第2のガード部材は、両方とも前記セプタムシールの近位に位置する、項目1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
(項目8)
前記第1及び第2のガード部材は、両方とも前記セプタムシールの遠位に位置する、項目1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
(項目9)
第3のガード部材及び第4のガード部材をさらに備え、前記第3及び第4のガード部材は、前記セプタムシールの遠位に位置する、項目7に記載の弁アセンブリ。
この上面図は、図25に描写される細長いシャフト2612の遠位部分の拡大側面図に対して90度回転オフセットされている。図24及び図25に見られるように、部材2622は、近位セクション2622a、中央セクション2622b、及び非外傷性ガイドナブ2622cを含む。想像線2624(湾曲を図示するために示されている)は、近位セクション2622aと中央セクション2622bとを分離する。同様に、想像線2626(湾曲を図示するために示されている)は、中央セクション2622bと非外傷性ガイドナブ2622cとを分離する。
Claims (9)
- 外科器具と共に使用される弁アセンブリであって、前記弁アセンブリは、
ハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に配置されたシールアセンブリと
を備え、
前記シールアセンブリは、
穴を含むセプタムシールであって、前記穴を通して挿入された外科器具に密封係合するように構成されたセプタムシールと、
複数の第1のガード部分を含む第1のガード部材であって、前記複数の第1のガード部分は、前記複数の第1のガード部分の間に複数のスリットを画定し、前記第1のガード部材の休止位置において、前記第1のガード部材の各スリットは、前記第1のガード部材の前記複数のスリットが略三角形であるように、前記第1のガード部材の中央開口から半径方向外側に延びるにつれて幅が徐々に増加する、第1のガード部材と、
前記第1のガード部材に対してオフセットの位置に配置された第2のガード部材であって、前記第2のガード部材は、複数の第2のガード部分を含み、前記複数の第2のガード部分は、前記複数の第2のガード部分の間に複数のスリットを画定し、前記第2のガード部材の休止位置において、前記第2のガード部材の各スリットは、前記第2のガード部材の前記複数のスリットが略三角形であるように、前記第2のガード部材の中央開口から半径方向外側に延びるにつれて幅が徐々に増加する、第2のガード部材と
を含み、
前記複数の第1のガード部分のそれぞれの幅は、前記第2のガード部材の前記複数のスリットのそれぞれの幅よりも大きく、
前記複数の第2のガード部分のそれぞれの幅は、前記第1のガード部材の前記複数のスリットのそれぞれの幅よりも大きい、弁アセンブリ。 - 上側シール支持体と下側シール支持体とをさらに備え、前記セプタムシールおよび前記第1のガード部材および前記第2のガード部材は、前記上側シール支持体と前記下側シール支持体との間に保持されている、請求項1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第1のガード部材の各スリットは、前記複数の第2のガード部分のそれぞれ1つと整列し、前記第2のガード部材の各スリットは、前記複数の第1のガード部分のそれぞれ1つと整列する、請求項1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第1のガード部材および前記第2のガード部材は、それぞれ、平坦なガード部分も含み、前記第1のガード部材の前記複数のスリットは、前記第1のガード部材の前記中央開口から前記第1のガード部材の前記平坦なガード部分に延び、前記第2のガード部材の前記複数のスリットは、前記第2のガード部材の前記中央開口から前記第2のガード部材の前記平坦なガード部分に延びる、請求項1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第1のガード部材の各スリットは、前記複数の第1のガード部分のそれぞれ1つを越えて半径方向に延び、前記第2のガード部材の各スリットは、前記複数の第2のガード部分のそれぞれ1つを越えて半径方向に延びる、請求項4に記載の弁アセンブリ。
- 前記セプタムシールは、蛇腹を含む、請求項1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第1のガード部材および前記第2のガード部材の両方は、前記セプタムシールの近位に位置する、請求項1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第1のガード部材および前記第2のガード部材の両方は、前記セプタムシールの遠位に位置する、請求項1に記載の弁アセンブリ。
