- 処理回路は、標的細胞懸濁液のヘマトクリットを検出するために照射送光器と照射受光器を使用するように構成され、照射送光器が標的細胞懸濁液を処理量の放射線で処理するように制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の照射装置。
- 処理回路は、処理量の放射光の強度を制御するために照射受光器からの信号を用いるように構成されている、請求項3に記載の照射装置。
- 照射装置はオンラインシステムの一部であり、照射送光器はUV−A光を送光し、照射受光器はUV−A光を受光する、請求項1に記載の照射装置。
- 標的細胞は単核細胞を含み、標的細胞懸濁液は光活性化剤8−メトキシソラレンを含む、請求項1に記載の照射装置。
- 照射送光器は、懸濁液中の標的細胞によって実際に吸収される10倍以上の放射光を送光するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の照射装置。
- 照射受光器は、照射装置の照射送光器からのUV振動数の以外の照射の振動数を除外して周囲の光の干渉を低減するように調整される、請求項1に記載の照射装置。
- 照射受光器は露光器内に配置される、請求項1に記載の照射装置。
- 露光器は、選択された量の光活性化剤を含む標的細胞懸濁液を保持する照明容器を受容するように構成され、
照射装置は、照明容器の内容物を照射するように構成される照射送光器を有し、少なくとも1つの照射受光器を含み、
前記照射装置が前記標的細胞懸濁液に向けて光を放射し、前記照射受光器がヘマトクリットを検出する工程と、
前記照射受光器が許容可能な最小ヘマトクリットより低いヘマトクリットを検出した時に前記照射装置が応答動作を提供する工程とを含む、体外フォトフェレーシス手順の間にヘマトクリットを検知するための方法。 - 標的細胞懸濁液は単核細胞を含み光活性化剤は8−メトキシソラレンを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 照射送光器は、懸濁液中の標的細胞によって実際に吸収される10倍以上の放射光を送光するように構成されている、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 照射装置は、標的細胞懸濁液のヘマトクリットが予め定められたヘマトクリットを超えない場合には応答動作を引き出すように構成され、応答動作は、フォトフェレーシス手順の終了と、エラー通知の生成と、ヘマトクリットを上昇させるための追加の細胞懸濁液の処理との少なくとも1つを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 照射装置はオンラインシステムの一部であり、照射送光器はUV−A光を送光し、照射受光器はUV−A光を受光する、請求項10に記載の方法。
