Description
(1)本発明は、キャリアフィルム付きガスケットに係る。
(2)ラバーオンリーガスケット作製時にキャリア用のフィルムを同時成形したキャリアフィルム付きガスケット。尚、本ガスケットはスタッキング後にキャリアフィルムを取り外せる構成である。
(3)キャリアフィルムによりスタック組み付け性が向上する。ガスケット中央もしくは端部のキャリアフィルムをスタッキング組み付け時の自動搬送で使用する。キャリアフィルムによりガスケットが矯正されているため、捩れの問題がない。スタッキング後にキャリアフィルムを取り外せるため、車両重量の低減につながる。
(4)キャリアフィルムとしてエンジニアリングプラスチック(ポリアミド(PA)またはポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)等)を使用する。
(5)型温、成形圧により金型形状に変形可能なキャリアフィルムを用いて、ゴム単体品(ラバーオンリーガスケット)を成形する。ゴム単体はシール性を有するリップ構造を有しており、フィルムの上面および、フィルムを介した下面の各々に形成され、矩形やOリング断面よりも、より省スペースでのシールが可能なガスケットを提供する。この構成によれば、小断面での成形が可能なことから、矩形やOリング断面よりも、より省スペース化が可能となる。成形後の製品(ラバーオンリーガスケット)は常にキャリアフィルム上にあることから、取り扱い性が大幅に向上する。ガスケット自体のキャリアフィルムからの脱落、剥離をコントロールすることでラインの自動化の検討等も容易になる。キャリアフィルムを型締めすることで、パーティングラインのバリを抑制することも可能となる。
(6)金型内に配置したフィルムにゴム材料を直接射出成形する本製造方法では、金型形状に沿った形でフィルムを自在に変形させることが可能であるため、製品形状を予め金型に対してアンダー形状となるように製品設計し、金型形状に関しても同形状とする。このように金型をアンダー構造とすることで、型開き時にガスケット本体が上型側に貼り付いた場合でも下型(フィルム面側)がアンダー形状となっていることで下型に付着し、よってガスケット本体がフィルムから剥離することがない。

Claims (5)
- ラバーオンリータイプのガスケット本体と、前記ガスケット本体を非接着状態で保持する樹脂フィルムよりなるキャリアフィルムとの組み合わせよりなり、
前記キャリアフィルムにおける前記ガスケット本体と平面上重なる部位に、前記ガスケット本体の外形形状に沿って変形した形状の立体部が設けられ、前記ガスケット本体はその一部が前記立体部に収められ、
前記立体部は、前記ガスケット本体を抜け止めするアンダーカット形状を備えることを特徴とするガスケット。 - 請求項1記載のガスケットにおいて、
前記キャリアフィルムは、エンジニアリングプラスチックよりなることを特徴とするガスケット。 - 請求項1または2記載のガスケットにおいて、
前記ガスケット本体は、燃料電池スタックに組み込まれる燃料電池用ガスケットとして用いられることを特徴とするガスケット。 - 請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載したガスケットを製造する方法であって、
前記ガスケット本体を成形する金型のパーティング部に平面状の前記キャリアフィルムを挟み込んだ状態で前記金型を型締めする工程と、
前記金型で前記ガスケット本体を成形し、このとき成形材料充填圧力で前記キャリアフィルムの平面上一部を金型キャビティ内面に沿って変形させることにより前記立体部を成形する工程と、
前記ガスケット本体の成形後、型開きしてから、前記ガスケット本体および前記キャリアフィルムを同時に前記金型から取り出す工程と、を順次実施することを特徴とするガスケットの製造方法。 - 請求項4に記載したガスケットの製造方法において、
前記金型のキャビティ内面にアンダーカット形状を設けることにより前記金型に対し前記ガスケット本体を抜け止めすることを特徴とするガスケットの製造方法。
