Description
(i)液体供給アトマイザ(Z1)から噴霧された液状原料の粒子を乾燥させるために、チャンバの上部に配置された噴霧乾燥部(A)と;
(ii)前記チャンバの下部に配置された流動層(B)であって、手順(i)で噴霧乾燥された前記噴霧乾燥部の粉末には、前記流動層(B)の下部に取り付けられたノズル又はアトマイザ構造(Z2)によって、前記液体バインダが噴霧される流動層(B)を有し;
生成時において粒子が常に流動状態である、噴霧乾燥凝集装置に関する。
香料が添加された凝集粒子を生成する。ここで、装置の上部チャンバにおいて、噴霧乾燥によって一次粒子が生成され、その後粒子は装置の下部において液体バインダに噴霧される。ここで、処理工程を安定的に行うために、十分な量の一次粒子が流動層に常に供給されることを確認する。
流動層の温度は摂氏30〜50度の間に制限されることから、噴霧されたバインダが分散する結果、十分な時間で一次粒子が凝集する。ここで、過度に高い温度に設定すると乾燥する率が高まり、結果として噴霧された分散物の凝集が開始する前に粒子の表面が乾燥することとなる。
I)凝集粒子の大きさ
本発明に基づいて生成された凝集粒子の大きさは、レーザー回折手段を用いて測定される。
本発明によって生成された凝集粒子の構造は、ルーペによって黒色のサンプル板によって特定される(Will製、カメラ有り)。
結果は表1に示す。
摩耗試験は、破壊試験機によって実施される。
凝集粒子の流動性は、粉末流動解析器を用いて測定される。この方法によって、粉末の流動性を測定することができる。
FFC値は以下の通りである。
0<FFC<11 … 自由に流動する
11<FFC<14 … 容易に流動する
14<FFC<16 … 粘着性がある
16<FFC<19 … 粘着性が高い
FFC>19 … 硬い
生成された凝集粒子のダスト値は、液滴法に従い、DIN 55992-2に基づき、SP3ダスト測定器を用いて測定された。

乾燥した香料は砂糖を含有するマトリックスによって構成される。香料はその吸湿性から、温度と湿度との組み合わせに敏感に反応する。しかし、これらの香料は処理時及び適用時に物理的ストレスに頻繁に露出されることから、その適用性については、開発時などの早い段階で試験されるべきである。
結果は表5において示す。
Claims (9)
- (i)液体供給アトマイザ(Z1)が配置され、チャンバの上部に配置された噴霧乾燥部(A)と;
(ii)出力開口部(H)のジグザグ分級機(P)に向けて前側に取り付けられた、前記チャンバの下部に配置された流動層(B)と;
(iii)液体バインダを噴霧するためのノズル又はアトマイザ構造と;
(iv)凝集粒子の生成量を調整し、凝集時に発生する細塵を凝集処理に戻すダム構造(G)と、を有する、噴霧乾燥凝集装置。 - 前記流動層(B)における前記ノズル又はアトマイザ構造(Z2)はリングラインを有し、前記ノズル又はアトマイザ構造は前記リングライン上に一定間隔で配置される、請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥凝集装置。
- 前記ノズル又はアトマイザ構造(Z2)は少なくとも3個のノズル又はアトマイザを有する、請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥凝集装置。
- 前記ノズル又はアトマイザ構造(Z2)は、少なくとも4個のノズル又はアトマイザを有する、請求項3に記載の噴霧乾燥凝集装置。
- 前記ノズル又はアトマイザ構造(Z2)に添加された液体バインダが下部から上部に向けて噴霧される、請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥凝集装置。
- 前記ノズル又はアトマイザ構造(Z2)に配置された前記ノズル又はアトマイザは、圧力噴霧ノズルである、請求項1に記載の噴霧乾燥凝集装置。
