Description

本発明は、肺容量を減少させる機械的方法に関する。本発明は、植込型装置、及び、係留及び容量の減少をもたらすための、装置の植込み方法を含む。
(1) 組織領域の容量を減少させるための装置であって、第1固定要素と、第2固定要素と、係留装置と、を備え、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素が、前記テザー上に摺動可能に固定されており、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素が、径方向に自己拡大する固定要素である、装置。
(2) 少なくとも1つの第1固定要素又は第2固定要素が、前記テザーに沿って摺動するのを制限するために、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素のうち少なくとも1つにおいて、ロック特徴部を更に備える、実施態様1に記載の装置。
(3) 前記テザーの移動を制限するために、前記ロック特徴部が、前記少なくとも1つの第1固定要素又は第2固定要素内にタング要素を備える、実施態様2に記載の装置。
(4) 前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素が、形状記憶材料を含む、実施態様1に記載の装置。
(5) 前記形状記憶材料がニチノールである、実施態様4に記載の装置。
(7) 拡大された後、前記固定要素のうち少なくとも1つを圧縮できる、実施態様1に記載の装置。
(8) 抗菌組成物を含むコーティングを更に含む、実施態様1に記載の装置。
(9) 組織の容量の減少を達成する方法であって、
i.開口内部領域を有する管状送達装置の遠位端を、組織の第1標的部位内に誘導する工程であって、前記管状送達装置が、前記管状送達装置の前記開口内部内に植込型装置を含み、前記植込型装置が、
(a)第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素と、
(b)第2の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素と、
(c)前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素がテザー上に摺動可能に固定されている、係留装置と、を備える、工程と、
ii.前記第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素が拡大し、組織の前記第1標的部位に接触するように、前記管状送達装置の前記開口内部から前記第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素を解放する工程と、
iii.前記管状送達装置の前記遠位端を前記組織内の第2標的部位に位置付け、前記第2の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素が拡大し、組織の前記第2標的部位に接触するように、前記管状送達装置の前記開口内部から前記第2の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素を解放する工程と、
iv.前記第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素が、前記第2固定要素に向かって所望の長さまで近位に引っ張られるように、前記係留装置を引く工程と、を含む、方法。
(10) 前記係留装置を引く前記工程後に、前記第2の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素をロックする工程を更に含む、実施態様9に記載の方法。
(12) 前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素のそれぞれが、概して、圧縮状態において送達装置内に適応するような形状であり、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素のそれぞれが、第1端部と、第2端部と、これらの間の介在本体と、を有し、各介在本体が、複数の軸方向に構成された支柱を提供するため、内部に切り込まれた複数のスリットを有する、実施態様9に記載の方法。
(13) 径方向外向き方向に自己拡大するために、前記固定要素が処理される、実施態様12に記載の方法。
(14) 前記固定要素が形状記憶材料を含む、実施態様13に記載の方法。
(15) 前記固定要素がニチノールを含む、実施態様14に記載の方法。
(17) 前記第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素を解放する前記工程(ii)の後に、前記第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素を圧縮する工程を更に含む、実施態様9に記載の方法。
(18) 前記第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素を解放する前記工程(ii)の後の、前記第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素を圧縮する前記工程の後に、前記第1の径方向に自己拡大する固定要素を、径方向に拡大させる工程を更に含む、実施態様17に記載の方法。
Claims (8)
- 組織領域の容量を減少させるための装置であって、第1固定要素と、第2固定要素と、テザーと、を備え、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素が、前記テザー上に摺動可能に固定されており、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素が、径方向に自己拡大する固定要素であり、
前記テザーが、テザー本体に形成されたチャネルを有し、体液が、前記チャネルを通って流れることができる、装置。 - 前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素のうちの少なくとも1つが、前記テザーに沿って摺動するのを制限するために、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素のうちの前記少なくとも1つにおいて、ロック特徴部を更に備える、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記テザーの移動を制限するために、前記ロック特徴部が、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素のうちの前記少なくとも1つ内にタング要素を備える、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素が、形状記憶材料を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記形状記憶材料がニチノールである、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記装置を保持できる開口内部を有する管状送達装置を更に備え、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素が前記管状送達装置の前記開口内部内に圧縮されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 拡大された後、前記第1固定要素及び前記第2固定要素のうちの少なくとも1つを圧縮できる、請求項1に記載の装置。
