Description
Claims (4)
- 成形用コア材を用いて複合材スティフナを形成する方法であって、前記成形用コア材が、
少なくとも1つの第1セクションであって、前記第1セクションの長さに沿って第1平面内で可撓性を有する、少なくとも1つの第1セクションと、
前記第1セクションに接続される少なくとも1つの第2セクションであって、前記第1平面内及び第2平面内で前記第2セクションの長さに沿って可撓性を有する、少なくとも1つの第2セクションと、
を備え、前記成形用コア材の前記第2セクションは、略平面状の第1部分と、複合材構造物の空洞内に収容されるように適合された第2部分と、を含み、
前記第1部分は、
前記第1部分の横幅の方向に延在し、かつ前記第1部分の長さに沿って離間する複数の補強帯状体であって、一方向性繊維強化樹脂を含む、複数の補強帯状体と、
前記補強帯状体の間のスロット群と、
前記スロット群内の可撓性材料であって、合成ゴムを含む可撓性材料と、を含み、
前記方法は、
複合材スティフナ積層体を形成することと、
前記成形用コア材を前記スティフナ積層体に接触させることと、
前記スティフナ積層体を前記成形用コア材に固着させることと、
前記成形用コア材を用いて、前記スティフナ積層体を搬送し、硬化用治具の表面に配置することと、
前記成形用コア材を用いて、前記スティフナ積層体を前記表面に押し付けて圧密化することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記スティフナ積層体を前記成形用コア材に固着させることは:
前記成形用コア材の内部を真空にすることと、
前記真空を利用して、前記スティフナ積層体を前記成形用コア材に押し付けて吸着させることと、
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記スティフナ積層体を前記成形用コア材に押し付けて吸着させることは、吸引力を、前記スティフナ積層体に接触している前記成形用コア材の側面を通って空気を排出することにより生成することを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記成形用コア材を用いて、前記スティフナ積層体を配置することは、前記成形用コア材が2つの略直交する平面内で曲がることが可能となることにより、前記成形用コア材を前記表面の幾何学形状に忠実に追従させることを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
