Description
隣り合う該電池セルの前記正極端子と前記負極端子とを電気的に接続するバスバーと、
前記電池セルに組み付け可能に形成され且つ前記バスバーにて接続された前記正極端子及び前記負極端子を覆う絶縁カバーと、
前記電池セルの状態を監視する監視回路が搭載された監視基板と、
該監視基板と電気的に接続され且つ前記各バスバーと電気的に接続され前記電池セルの状態を検出する複数の検出端子と、
を備え、
前記絶縁カバーは、
この内面に前記監視基板と前記検出端子とが一体的に配設され、
前記検出端子は、
前記電池セルに前記絶縁カバーを組み付けた際に前記バスバーと電気的に接続されるように配設され、
さらに、前記絶縁カバーは、
この前記内面に所定の間隔をあけて前記電池セルの配列方向に沿って配列される複数の絶縁壁が突設され、
該絶縁壁は、
前記電池セルに前記絶縁カバーを組み付けた際に前記絶縁壁間に前記バスバーと該バスバーにて接続された前記正極端子及び前記負極端子とを挟むことができるように配設されることを特徴とする。
なお、図中の矢印は、上下、左右、前後の各方向を示している(矢印の各方向は一例であるものとする)。
図1に図示する電池スタック2は、複数の電池セル4と、図示しない複数の樹脂枠と、複数のバスバー5とを備えている。図1(b)において、電池スタック2は、簡略化して図示しているため、樹脂枠は図示していないが、電池セル4と樹脂枠とを交互に配置するようにして配列して構成されている。
図1に図示するように、絶縁カバー3は、電池スタック2に組み付けることができるように形成されている。絶縁カバー3は、電池スタック2に組み付けられるとバスバー5にて接続された正極端子7及び負極端子8を覆うことができるように形成されている。
以上、図1−図5を参照しながら説明してきたように、電池パック1によれば、監視基板10の絶縁と電池セル4の絶縁を一緒に行うことができるようになることから、監視基板10の絶縁機能と電池セル4の絶縁機能の統合により、電池パック1の小型化を図ることができるとともに、電池パック1の製造コストの低減を図ることができるという効果を奏する。
Claims (3)
- 正極端子及び負極端子が一の端面に突設され前記正極端子と前記負極端子とが交互に配置されるように配列される複数の電池セルと、
隣り合う該電池セルの前記正極端子と前記負極端子とを電気的に接続するバスバーと、
前記電池セルに組み付け可能に形成され且つ前記バスバーにて接続された前記正極端子及び前記負極端子を覆う絶縁カバーと、
前記電池セルの状態を監視する監視回路が搭載された監視基板と、
該監視基板と電気的に接続され且つ前記各バスバーと電気的に接続され前記電池セルの状態を検出する複数の検出端子と、
を備え、
前記絶縁カバーは、
この内面に前記監視基板と前記検出端子とが一体的に配設され、
前記検出端子は、
前記電池セルに前記絶縁カバーを組み付けた際に前記バスバーと電気的に接続されるように配設され、
さらに、前記絶縁カバーは、
この前記内面に所定の間隔をあけて前記電池セルの配列方向に沿って配列される複数の絶縁壁が突設され、
該絶縁壁は、
前記電池セルに前記絶縁カバーを組み付けた際に前記絶縁壁間に前記バスバーと該バスバーにて接続された前記正極端子及び前記負極端子とを挟むことができるように配設される
ことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 請求項1に記載の電池パックにおいて、
前記監視基板は、
導電性を有する金属材料又は絶縁性を有する樹脂材料にて成形されるカバーにて覆われる
ことを特徴とする電池パック。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の電池パックにおいて、
前記検出端子は、
前記電池セルに前記絶縁カバーを組み付けた際に前記バスバーと面接触することができるように形成される
ことを特徴とする電池パック。
