Description
(1)運転支援装置100は、左右の車線の内側の所定位置(中心線に沿った位置)を車両が走行するように操舵機構16に操舵補助トルクを付与する車線維持支援装置1と、運転者により操作されて、車線維持支援装置1を起動するための起動信号を出力するスイッチ10,11と、車線維持支援装置1の作動の要否を判定、すなわち車両のふらつき判定を行うふらつき判定部22と、スイッチ10,11が非操作で、かつ、ふらつき判定部22により車線維持支援装置1の作動が必要と判定されると、スイッチ10,11の操作を運転者に促す報知信号を報知部15に出力または起動信号を車線維持支援部25に出力する出力部24とを備える(図1,図3)。
Claims (6)
- 車線の内側の所定位置を車両が走行するように操舵機構に操舵補助トルクを付与する車線維持支援装置と、
運転者により操作されて、前記車線維持支援装置を起動するための起動信号を出力する操作部と、
前記車線維持支援装置の作動の要否を判定する判定部と、
前記操作部が非操作で、かつ、前記判定部により前記車線維持支援装置の作動が必要と判定されると、前記操作部の操作を運転者に促す報知信号または前記起動信号の少なくとも一方を出力する出力部と、を備え、
前記出力部は、前記操作部が非操作で、かつ、前記判定部により前記車線維持支援装置の作動が必要と判定されると、前記報知信号を出力し、その後、所定時間経過しても前記操作部が操作されないとき、前記起動信号を出力することを特徴とする運転支援装置。 - 請求項1に記載の運転支援装置において、
車線を基準とした車両のふらつき度を検出するふらつき検出部をさらに備え、
前記判定部は、前記ふらつき検出部で検出されたふらつき度が閾値を越えると、前記車線維持支援装置の作動が必要と判定することを特徴とする運転支援装置。 - 請求項2に記載の運転支援装置において、
車線の曲率を表す情報、車外の視認性の程度を表す情報、前記報知信号が出力された頻度を表す情報、および現在地周辺の車両の走行履歴を表す情報の少なくとも1つを取得する情報取得部と、
前記情報取得部で取得された情報に応じて前記閾値を変更する閾値変更部と、をさらに備えることを特徴とする運転支援装置。 - 請求項2または3に記載の運転支援装置において、
車両が車線を逸脱することを抑制するように前記車線維持支援装置で付与する操舵補助トルクよりも大きな操舵補助トルクを前記操舵機構に付与する路外逸脱抑制装置をさらに備え、
前記判定部は、前記ふらつき検出部で検出されたふらつき度と前記路外逸脱抑制装置の作動頻度とに基づいて前記車線維持支援装置の作動の要否を判定することを特徴とする運転支援装置。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の運転支援装置において、
前記操作部は第1操作部であり、前記運転者により操作されて、前記第1操作部の操作を有効化するための待機信号を出力する第2操作部をさらに備え、
前記出力部は、前記第1操作部が非操作で、かつ、前記判定部により前記車線維持支援装置の作動が必要と判定されると、前記第2操作部の操作により前記待機信号が出力されていることを条件として、前記報知信号を出力せずに前記起動信号を出力することを特徴とする運転支援装置。 - 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の運転支援装置において、
車両始動前の前回走行時における前記車線維持支援装置の起動の有無を記憶する記憶部をさらに備え、
前記出力部は、前記操作部が非操作で、かつ、前記判定部により前記車線維持支援装置の作動が必要と判定され、かつ、前記記憶部に前記前回走行時における前記車線維持支援装置の起動ありの情報が記憶されていると、前記報知信号を出力せずに前記起動信号を出力することを特徴とする運転支援装置。
