Claims (6)
- 本体ケースと、
この本体ケースを走行させる駆動輪と、
この駆動輪を駆動させるモータと、
前記本体ケースの側方の物体との距離を検出する距離検出手段と、
前記本体ケースの前方の物体を検出する物体検出手段と、
前記モータの駆動を制御することで前記本体ケースを自律走行させる制御手段とを具備し、
前記制御手段は、
前記距離検出手段により検出した前記本体ケースと側方の物体との距離を所定の一定値に維持しつつこの物体に沿って前記本体ケースを走行させるように前記モータを駆動させる走行制御と、
この走行制御中に前記物体検出手段により前記本体ケースの前方に物体を検出した場合に、この検出した前方の物体に沿って前記本体ケースの前進方向を転換するように前記モータを駆動させる方向転換制御とを備え、
前記方向転換制御は、前記距離検出手段により検出する距離を無視して前記本体ケースを所定の旋回角度旋回させ、その状態で前記距離検出手段により検出した距離が前記所定の一定値となっていないときには前記所定の一定値となるまで前記本体ケースをさらに旋回させるように前記モータを駆動させる旋回制御を少なくとも含む
ことを特徴とした自律走行体。 - 方向転換制御は、物体検出手段により本体ケースの前方に物体を検出すると、前記本体ケースが前記物体に対して後退するようにモータを駆動させる後退制御を含む
ことを特徴とした請求項1記載の自律走行体。 - 物体検出手段は、物体との接触によりこの物体を検出する接触センサである
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の自律走行体。 - 旋回制御での旋回角度は、本体ケースでの距離検出手段の位置に対応して設定された角度である
ことを特徴とした請求項1ないし3いずれか一記載の自律走行体。 - 物体検出手段は、
接触子と、
本体ケースの異なる位置にそれぞれ配置され、物体に対する前記接触子の接触を検出する複数の検出手段本体とを備え、
制御手段は、前記物体検出手段のいずれの検出手段本体が前記接触子の物体への接触を検出するかに基づいてこの物体検出手段の接触子と物体との接触角度を検出し、
旋回制御での旋回角度は、前記接触角度に応じて設定される
ことを特徴とした請求項3記載の自律走行体。 - 請求項1ないし5いずれか一記載の自律走行体と、
この自律走行体の本体ケースに設けられ、この本体ケースの少なくとも側方の被掃除面の塵埃を掃除する側部掃除手段と
を具備したことを特徴とした電気掃除機。
