Description
充放電可能な電池セルまたは単位モジュールを多数個含む電池モジュールが2つ以上配列された状態でパックハウジングとベースプレートとの間の空間に内蔵されている構造の電池パックであって、
配列された電池モジュールが搭載されるベースプレート(base plate)と、
前記電池モジュールを取り囲みながら下端がベースプレートと結合されるパックハウジングと、
前記電池モジュールの上端部の動きを低減することができるように、パックハウジングの内面と電池モジュールの上端外面との間の空間に介在しているスペーサー(spacer)と、
を含む構造であってもよい。

Claims (16)
- 充放電可能な電池セル又は単位モジュールを多数個含む電池モジュールが2つ以上配列された状態でパックハウジングとベースプレートとの間の空間に内蔵されている構造の電池パックであって、
配列された電池モジュールが搭載されるベースプレート(base plate)と、
前記電池モジュールを取り囲みながら下端がベースプレートと結合されるパックハウジングと、
前記電池モジュールの上端部の動きを低減することができるように、パックハウジングの内面と電池モジュールの上端外面との間の空間に介在している、発泡高分子樹脂からなるスペーサー(spacer)と、
前記電池モジュールを支持できるように、前記電池モジュールの上端に配列方向に装着されている一対のテンションバーと、
を含み、
前記テンションバーには2つ以上の貫通口が形成されており、前記テンションバーと電池モジュールは、前記貫通口に挿入されたボルトがナットと結合しながら締結される構造であり、
前記スペーサーは、前記ボルト及び前記ナットに対応する形状の湾入部が形成されており、前記スペーサーは、前記湾入部に前記ボルトが挿入されて固定されている構造であることを特徴とする、電池パック。 - 前記電池セルは、金属層と樹脂層を含むラミネートシートのケースに電極積層体を内蔵した後、外周面をシールした構造からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セルは、フレーム構造の電池カートリッジの内部に装着されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池カートリッジは、電池セルの両側面のうち少なくとも一側面が開放された状態で、電池セルの外周面を固定する少なくとも一対の板状型フレームからなっていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池モジュールは、長方形構造からなっており、電極端子が上面に向かうように直立した状態で側面が互いに接する配列でベースプレート上に搭載されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池モジュールは、直立状態で電池モジュールの高さが幅よりも相対的に大きいことを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池パックは、
前記電池モジュールの上端に装着されて電圧を検出するセンシングアセンブリと、
前記電池モジュールにおいて最外側の電池モジュールのうち1つの電池モジュールの外側に隣接して装着されるBMS(battery management system)と、
をさらに含み、
前記パックハウジングは、前記電池モジュール及びBMSを取り囲みながらパックハウジングの下端がベースプレートと結合されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。 - 前記スペーサーの上面は、パックハウジングの内面に接しており、スペーサーの下面は、センシングアセンブリ及び電池モジュールの露出された上面に接していることを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の電池パック。
- 前記スペーサーの上面は、パックハウジングの内面に対応する形状からなっており、スペーサーの下面は、センシングアセンブリ及び電池モジュールの露出された上面に対応する形状からなっていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池パック。
- 前記スペーサーは、電池モジュールの上端部の両端を取り囲む構造からなっていることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電池パック。
- 前記発泡高分子樹脂は閉鎖型気孔(closed pores)を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記発泡高分子樹脂は発泡ポリプロピレン(EPP)であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記電池セルはリチウム二次電池であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 前記スペーサーは、前記電池モジュールの上端部の側面への動きを抑制することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池パック。
- 請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の電池パックを電源として含んでいることを特徴とする、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、携帯電話、携帯用コンピュータ、スマートフォン、タブレットPC、スマートパッド、ネットブック、LEV(Light Electronic Vehicle)、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、及び電力貯蔵装置からなる群から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載のデバイス。
