Description
Claims (5)
- 車両の車体における上下方向および横方向の加速度を検出する加速度センサと、
前記車体のピッチ方向とヨー方向の角速度を検出するジャイロセンサと、
前記加速度センサで検出した上下方向および横方向の前記加速度に基づいて前記車体のバンク角度を求める第一バンク角度演算部と、
前記ジャイロセンサが検出したピッチ方向とヨー方向の前記角速度に基づいて前記車体のバンク角度を求める第二バンク角度演算部とを備え、
前記第一バンク角度演算部と前記第二バンク角度演算部がそれぞれ求めたバンク角度のうち大きなバンク角度を前記車体のバンク角度とする
ことを特徴とするバンク角度検知装置。 - 前記第二バンク角度演算部は、求めたバンク角度が0度を含む範囲に設定される不感帯域にある場合にバンク角度を0度とする
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバンク角度検知装置。 - 前記車両の速度が閾値以下である場合、前記第一バンク角度演算部が求めたバンク角度を前記車体のバンク角度とする
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のバンク角度検知装置。 - 前記車両が鞍乗車両であって、
前記加速度センサおよび前記ジャイロセンサが前記車体におけるシート下に配置される
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバンク角度検知装置。 - 車両の車体の上下方向および横方向の加速度を検知する加速度検出ステップと、
前記車体のピッチ方向とヨー方向の角速度を検知する角速度検出ステップと、
前記車体の上下方向および横方向の前記加速度に基づいて前記車体のバンク角度を求める第一バンク角度演算ステップと、
前記車体のピッチ方向とヨー方向の前記角速度に基づいて前記車体のバンク角度を求める第二バンク角度演算ステップと、
前記第一バンク角度演算ステップと前記第二バンク角度演算ステップでそれぞれ求めたバンク角度のうち大きなバンク角度を前記車体のバンク角度として選択するバンク角度選択ステップとを備えた
ことを特徴とするバンク角度検知方法。
