Description
本出願は、2013年9月13日出願の、表題「SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AGE−APPROPRIATE BRAIN MONITORING DURING GENERAL ANESTHESIA AND SEDATION」である米国仮特許出願第61/877,800号明細書に基づき、これに対する優先権を主張し、これを参照によって全体的に本明細書に組み込む。
本発明は、国立衛生研究所によって授与されたDP2−OD006454、TR01−GM104948、およびT32GM007592の下で政府支援によってなされた。政府は、本発明において特定の権利を有する。
Claims (11)
- 麻酔特性を有する少なくとも1つの薬物を投与される患者の年齢を補償し監視するシステムであって、
患者が麻酔特性を有する前記少なくとも1つの薬物を投与される間、前記患者から生理学的信号を取得するように構成された少なくとも1つのセンサと、
少なくとも1つのプロセッサと、を備え、
前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサが、
前記少なくとも1つのセンサを用いて取得された前記生理学的信号に対応する生理学的データを生成し、
前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサによって特定される前記生理学的データの中の信号マーカから前記患者の見かけ年齢を決定し、
前記患者の見かけ年齢に基づいて調整された生理学的データを示す報告書を生成するように構成されている、
システム。 - 前記プロセッサが、さらに、前記生理学的データの信号振幅およびパワースペクトルの少なくとも1つを用いて前記患者の見かけ年齢を特定するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記プロセッサが、さらに、前記患者の見かけ年齢に基づいて前記報告書の前記生理学的データの増幅器利得およびスケールの少なくとも1つを調整するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記プロセッサが、複数桁に及ぶダイナミックレンジに亘る前記生理学的信号を考慮し、マルチテーパ法を使用して前記生理学的データを時系列データになるように組み立てるように構成される、請求項1に記載にシステム。
- 前記患者の少なくとも1つの特徴の指示を受け取るように構成されたユーザインターフェースを備え、前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサが前記患者の特性の少なくとも1つに基づいて決定された前記患者の見かけ年齢を調整するようにさらに構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサがさらに、EEGデータを受け取ると共に前記見かけ年齢に基づいて前記EEGデータを分析して前記患者の状態を決定するように構成される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサがさらに、患者の麻酔の状態又は鎮静の状態を決定するように構成される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサがさらに、徐波帯域、デルタ帯域、シータ帯域、ベータ帯域、およびアルファ帯域のうちの少なくとも1つのパワーを分析するように構成される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサがさらに、1〜50Hzの範囲の周波数帯域内のパワーを分析するように構成される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムが、前記患者の見かけ年齢に従って前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサによって調整されるスケールを使用して前記EEGデータを表示するように構成されたディスプレイをさらに含む、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサがさらに、前記患者の見かけ年齢に基づいて前記生理学的信号の取得を制御するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のシステム。
